My other dtr. has Nintendogs. We got this because it was for a GBA. She enjoyed it at first, but tired of it quickly.

My daughter got this game as a gift. She and her girlfriends love it.
The graphics are cute. A fun game for all...I even play along.

Disappointed: Wish I hadn't spent the money.

I purchased this for my grandson who loves dogs hoping he would enjoy it as a birthday gift but decided to check it out first and I am very glad I did. He would be bored out of his mind with this game. Aside from watching the dog sleep and move around a crude lil house there isn't much else you can do with him. Yes, he does talk to you... the same things over and over. There are mini-games that can be played to earn points to decorate the house; something lil girls may enjoy. (Actually the mini-games are probably the most interesting part of this game) In my opinion if a child is old enough to read chances are they will be bored with this game.
It could have had much more potential than it does. I was VERY disappointed.

I am 11 and I got this game when I was 10. The first few days were good with it, but then I got mad... because once you have a dog for a few days, the dog says that you need to let it go. So I think it is a waste of time and money.

Good game overall, my son wasn't thrilled but everyone else who played it liked it especially the girls.My son wanted it so bad because he loves animals, but I think animal planet is more for him. I think this game is more of a girly kind of game, you know cute. It doesn't teach you anything it's just cute. Depends on the kid I guess.

I like that the dogs are really cute and it is fun. But I had a dachshund named Star and she was taken away. Its kind of sad. That was the only thing I did not like.

i like it! its very fun. its like a dog is communicating with you. the part i hate is that there is nohing much to do.
and its very sad at the end because the dog has to go. they say some really heartwarming words and sometimes they repeat and repeat whatever they say.

This game is quite fun and cute. First you pick out a dog then yo go to this house (which you can decorate) there are 3 mini games(which you can earn money by playing or jewels as there called) and you can chat with your dog you can tell it i'm fealing happy,sad,mad,u can sing 2 it and ask your fortune. But in this game the dog has(unfortunatly) to leave you
Then you start over. It's more like a game than rasing a pet. If you get this game i hope you like it as much as I do
