Stick to the Wario Ware series - Far better games

If you loved the Wario Ware series, then stick to those games.

For the first time ever, you can play microgames that go really fast, in this War...wait a second. This isn't WarioWare. What made WarioWare such a great game was that it showed a new experience in games like never before, where a bunch of microgames would be switching every few seconds. Now we find one game that attempts to go in the footsteps of WarioWare, Lizzie McGuire 3: Homecoming Havoc. The game with many flaws.

The story in this year's game is like the title, Homecoming Havoc. Lizzie goes through 9, or 10 levels of microgames in order to become Homecoming Queen. As you progress, you'll go through harder microgames.

The way they tell you about what to do in each microgame in WarioWare isn't like this. Instead, you see a quick text that says what type of game is, and you get 3 seconds to look at it. You'll get 3-10 seconds to do each microgame, and most of them are a hit-or-miss. You'll get microgames that will make you do Hodgepodge, Multi-tap, Do it, In-Motion, Avoid It, Balance, Time-Tap, Aim It, and Multi-move. At the end of each level, you won't get a different boss level like Wario Ware. Instead, you'll go through a quick Dance Competition, where you have to press the exact arrow when it shows. The better you are in the competition, the bar goes up. Each level has a specific part in the bar where you need to qualify in order to go to the next level. One problem with this is that the arrows don't always seem to match up with the song.

There are some flaws and stuff about the game, first is that they lied about Gordo and Miranda being in the game at all. I played all of the game, and I still didn't find them in the game. Second, what made WarioWare easy was that they tell you the exact thing you must do. In this game, you'll get any kind of microgame, and some of them are confusing because you won't know what to do, causing to lose a life.

The graphics are different in this year's game, but there are some games that recycle Toon Lizzie sprites from last year's game, WHAT A CON!!!. But it's still a disappointment that Gordo and Miranda aren't in the game. Instead, the game has a boy version of Toon Lizzie - BOO!!! HISS!!! - not good :(

It's also a disappointment that the game doesn't have any Toon Lizzie voice clips whatsoever - C'mon Disney get with it!!!

Though the game has many microgames, it's still not enough. There are only 2 modes, no link cable, and the games start to get a little boring once you've played them many times. WarioWare fans could try this out. But if you have played WarioWare, then you played this game, and you should move on.

Move on and leave well alone. You have been warned guys n'girls.

not much fun for $29

I spit on this game. It's another bad game made off a show. Maybe fans of the show will like it. That's a BIG maybe.

Mind-numbing

Lizzie McGuire 3 is a collection of mini-games (which range in length from roughly 2-8 seconds) fall into ten different categories: Rapid-Tap, Balance, Time-Tap, Aim It, Avoid It, Multi Move, In-Motion, Do It, Multi-Tap and Hodge Podge. There is a fair amount of repetition of the same games throughout, so you'll have plenty of chances with each one. The challenges I encountered with a couple of the games were due more to their ambiguity than their difficulty. This can be frustrating, particularly when you are faced with the same irksome task three or four times in as many minutes. This is also a prime example of the game's slapdash quality. It would have been nice if the mini-games had increased in difficulty as I had reached higher stages.

I beat the entire game in less than an hour. I'm confident that, had I read the manual first, I could've come in under 45 minutes. Granted, this game is intended for a younger audience, but I remain confident that a two-hour car ride would assure any child over the age of seven an easy victory. But I'm not sure how much that would matter, as the game's appeal is either immediately evident or not. Winning is not the gratifying conclusion here that is in other games. I know I didn't let my new title as Homecoming Queen go to my head. In fact, despite my very marginal interest in this game, I found myself grateful for its presence a number of times after beating it. Waiting for a friend to show up, killing time during commercial breaks and watching my pasta boil all went by faster with Lizzie in hand. Yes, I just said that playing this game is more entertaining that sitting and staring at the wall.

Far from being a must have GBA game.

This game is so awesome!! I got it for my birthday and have been enjoying it ever since. It has ten big games each with ten micro games that you earn. (100 micro games in all) It's so fun to move Lizzie around and I like playing all the games. I would recommend this game for long car rides. Also, you have to have quick reflexes so this game is great for all you people out there who like a challenge. It also has good music and sound effects and when Lizzie enters the dance compition with Kate Sanders, the game gets really exciting. So, if you don't know if you should get this game or not or whether you are looking for a new gameboy game, you should buy this game because you won't regret it afterwards.

THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I heard this game was coming out, I looked it up on the internet and seeing how neat it seemed, bought it. In the whole sceme of things, it's not so difficult but the first time you play it, it's kind of confusing. Each stage has ten micro games with a dance off at the end of the stage. A few of the 100 micro games are hard and some are unbelieveably simple. Some are obvious and you know exactly what to do, while others take a while and lots of thinking to figure out. Of course, the instruction booklet does not have directions for every game, so you have to figure them out. The longest micro game is ten seconds and the shortest one is a second. Yes, one second. See for yourself if you get the game. I am not wrong, and although it may sound stupid and unreal, it's true. After all, there is a reason why the games are called micro games!!(Get a hint! There is a reason why there are 100!!) The dance offs at the end of each stage are a bit tricky at first, but again, it all just takes a little getting used to. You start each new game with three chances. Chances are lost if you lose a micro game. When all your chances are gone, the game ends. You can earn more chances by purchasing tokens, which are earned by winning a micro game, winning a dance-off, and at the end of each stage. With the trial mode, you can see how long you can play micro games with only 3 chances and you are not allowed to use cards. This game takes about a half hour to complete (45 minutes sometimes) and I would not recommend it for long car rides. However, it does have replayability, meaning you can always earn tokens, purchase cards, and get new high scores. Over all, I think this is a cool game, I would not recommend it for advanced GBA player, rather, as a first GBA game.

yay for lizzie
