Good Game... but doesn't follow storyline

now unless Vorador's death is explained in defiance2 that is one big error, for all those who do not know, in Blood Omen Vorador dies at the hands of the Saraphan whilst Kain was on his quest to revive the pillars... and this game takes place sum 600 years later (400 years after blood omen was the war and 200 years after that is Kain's awakining)

The Game is fun to play, with all of the cast from the previous games coming back to voice over.

I was actually expecting to see Kain raise Raziel in this game, but i was left in the dark, alot of questions about kain's past is still left un answered...

this games is really a filler story to the actual one of Legacy of Kain, and therefore there really isnt that much of one, especally compaired to the others.

This game gets only 3 stars, because it just doesn't fit into the Kain continuum...

better story than play, but still a Great Game

this game has a good storyline, puzzle solving, really great background music, an incredible sense of atmosphere, sardonic humor, and a lotta lotta lotta blood and GORE. However it can get repetative and it is GRAPHIC, particularly the eternal prison. (i get queasy when forced to drink from the s-ders). there is also no way to skip dialogues if you dont want to watch them over and over. It also wasn't as challenging as it could have been (although some levels in the middle are tough) but the blocking options can spice things up a bit. that's why this game gets a 4 overall, because it's not as challenging as it coulda been, and because the gameplay can get a little dry. but it's still a great game: the storyline saves it from being a one time play, the blocking options saves it from being too easy, and it has a pretty decent shock and disturb factor too-which is really its crowning glory as a game.

(Also, i would HIGHLY recommend you check out Soul Reaver 2 from the legacy of kain series, its totally addicting.)
