Fun in full force

Perfect hand held game. Missions sizes are perfect for a quick play or a full blown night out. Excellent controls, wonderful graphics, great execution.

When I bought this game, I thought it was one I had played in an arcade a while back. (same title, different game) That being said..This game is..well...the concept is different at best. Jump from car to car (or boat, or any other powered vehicle) shoot the passenger 10 times to kill them, shoot the driver 10 times to kill him, take control of the car, speed up, catch next car, and repeat. This makes for a very repetitive game style...(oh, and also throw a Speed knock-off where the bus has to stay above 100mph or explode)
The game was allright...except for one level that had me stuck for about 2 days. It was a great time killer for the most part. If you are looking for any type of realism dont buy this game.

Decent graphics, nice plot, cool options to go from vehicle to vehicle like Grand Theft and Driver 3. Don't send more than $20.

Really good violent racer for psp

This was one of my first games for the psp when i got it at christmas time around a month ago. I like this game because for being on a hand-held it has pretty good graphics and sound. I love how you can jump from car-to-car and if you have enough points you can jump in slow motion and shoot the drivers and passangers(you can do that anyway but its cooler in slo-mo). Its a pretty long game because ive played it for no less than 4 hours and it says im about 37% through the game.

I got this game for christmas for around $19.00 brand new on ebay. I think for being brand new that, that is a very good price. I think its worth max. $20 but not really much more than that. So if your looking for a cheap shooter/racer pick this game up soon.

I actually bought this game used at Game Stop for $10 or $15 bucks. I'm glad I picked it up. Pursuit Force is a fun and action-packed police game that really gets your attention.

In Career mode you work your way up the hierarchy from an officer to a sergent to a captain. As you complete missions more are opened up for you. Mission include stopping an enemy from reaching a certain point, or protecting a convoy/mayor/informant, to shooting your way through obstacles. Some assignments incorporate more than one, and those are awesome!

Game play is pretty simple. You walk or drive, shoot, dodge, and jump onto other cars. It takes a few tries to coordinate yourself, but once you do it's fine. What I don't like is the lack of options when wanting to change controls. You only get two options, and don't get to set the buttons the way that best works for you. A drawback but you get used to it.

Another is that you don't get to choose weapons. You simply hold the "shoot" button, and when you run out of ammunition the weapon changes on its own. The positive is that you don't have to waste time collecting ammo or worry about running out of weapons at a critical moment. The negative is that some guns shoot much slower than others, or have a limited amount of bullets, and it takes a second when the weapons have to change. But again, you get used to it.

The cars are very specific in their type of handling. SUVs drive like SUVs, sports cars like sports cars, etc. The boats though....well, I hate trying to drive the boats. Maybe that's how they handle in real life?

They aren't a lot of mode choices for game play. Career mode is the by far the best, what with the creative scenarios and various mission requirements. As you progress in the game each mission gets more complex. Time trial is just you driving through a stage for no real purpose. A free range mode where you can just run around and arrest bad guys or chase bank robbers would be great, but oh well. You also have race mode, which isn't too bad. There are various missions with this as well, but basically you race other folks for whatever reason (to get the atmom bomb, to reach a witness, etc.). It's a good mode for, say, when you're waiting in the doc's office or something.

All in all this game truly is fun. There's even a sequel coming out in 2008. So if you like action games, and love police plots, I think you can't really go wrong with this one.

why can't they incorporate this kind of moves on some other action games.

Graphics are pretty good, specially some of the movie cuts to setup the story. Game is a mix of driving game, shooter, and just plain fun. The controls are pretty easy to learn. Action is continous, no wasting time with setting up the story line..just that you are cop and you must do what you captain wants to bring law and order to the city. Only negative is that you can't turn off the power (sleep mode) in the middle of load screen. You have to be with in the game to get the psp to sleep mode. Overall- great game.

Gotta be short and sweet since I'm at work. While the gameplay in innovative and very much fun at first, once you get past the fact that you're slo-mo jumping from one car to another, and then trying to do the same with the next car in line, it just gets old quick. There is no aiming your weapon, or any other skill techniques for that matter. You press one button to automatically jump onto another car, you hold R trigger to lock on and fire. Sometimes it's cars, sometimes trucks, sometimes boats, but they all work basically the same. I wouldn't pay over $20 for it.

Lots of fun..... While it lasts...

This game features Career mode, Race Mode, and Time Challenge Mode. It also has a gallery (great for showing the graphics off to your friend!)

Pros: Great Graphics, Lots of Fun, different vehicles (boat, helicopter, cars, Busses, trucks), and good gameplay. However, there are some Flaws... Great loading times!

Cons: For some reason, I thought that jumping off of cars would be hard :( Once you jump, you never miss, no matter how far away the might've gotton in the time you get out of ur car to the time you jump onto their car. Also, when you shoot, you can never miss! It aims automatically, which can be helpful at times. The loading times weren't bad at all, and are very fast. However, the thing that really pissed me off, is that there's no sleep mode... If you don't know what that means, it's that you can't turn of your PSP, and then play it w/out starting over. The only place where there is sleepmode is during the mission.

The music matches the game, and the different modes keep you entertained for a while. Another bad thing about this game is that it has very little replay value. Once you beat the game, it isn't fun to go back and try to get an A just to see a picture (gallery)

I would reccomend this for anyone, kids and adults, hardcore gamers and casual gamers, because it is an excellent game while it lasts.

This in my opinion is the best psp game yet!! I just love jumping right of your car on to the bad guys cars or any kind of vehicle. You never miss when firing which is a cool feature. The only down side is that it is not able to go into sleepmode unless your right in the action. The whole consecpt is to jump onto one guys car kill the guy in it. Take his car and drive around untill you find another car to jump on or boat or any vehicle. That's the basic concept. Thier is also land mission where you can get on foot and kill all the bad guys. List of pros and cons.

Pros:
1.Awsome acion consept
2.Great graphics
3.Tons of missions
4.(land and drive missions also)
5.lots of weapons to use

Cons:
1. no multiplayer
2. Can't go into sleep mode (at somtimes)

Bottom line it's a great game very reccomended!

This game is quite honestly highly entertaining. It feels like you are playing the role of a super cop in a Summer Blockbuster Action film jumping from vehicle to vehicle and gunning down the bad guys. Included are racing games and time trials to extend the action game play. Personally, I give it fours stars for me but for the "action junky" I'd safely give it a five stars. I'm impressed with how polished this game is too... Nothing to complain about as far as graphics, sound, load times, etc...
