bad game- stinks

You battle warrior after warrior. Don't you think that is boring? Well it certainly is. I have this game and the first level I played was fun, then the game becomes ssssoooooo boring! After the fifth level, I can't beat these stupid warriors, and I was endanger of throwing my psp on the floor. Terrible, terrible game. Also, the warriors look like monkeys in a colorful spacesuit! I suggest you buy some other game!

As a fan of the Dynasty and Samurai Warrior series, picking this game up when I got a psp was a no brainer. The graphics are pretty good and basically on par with the playstation 2. There are times of slowdown however that can be frustrating. What makes this game different from the ps2 version is the way the battlefield is broken up into a number of strategic squares. I think this does serve well for having a short series of mini battles that someone who wants to play a quick game on the go. For me, I didn't really care for this style. I found it took away more from the game than it added. The game itself can be a bit repetitive, unless you really love fighting wave after wave of basically the same enemies just to unlock a new bodyguard here and there. This is a decent entry in the series, but it is far from being one of the better tries by Koei.

Of all the Dynasty Warrior games this one is the least enertaining. And with the price they are charging for it you could just buy Dynasty Warriors 5, which is a lot more fun.

This is an action packed chinise game,you get to choose from different characters and kill other dynasties.It is very exciting but when you continue to play it gets a little boring.Cause all the time is killing other people in foot,horses or elephants.To some people this game never gets boring,to some it does.To me its good.It is good but not worth 50bucks or more,Im waiting for them to low it to 40,I rented it,cause it costed 52bucks and Rengoku 40,I buyed Rengoku and I'm gonna wait now for Dead to Rights:The Reckoning,Death Jr.,Gran Theft Auto and Coded Arms.PSP is hot with games,poor Nintendo DS.

chopped up battle field

It's much like all other Koei's Dynasty warrior games, but the only thing is... (I know it's probably due to the hardware limitation) the whole battle field is chopped up in pieces, first you move like playing a chess, then you select which square you wish to move to, then a small battlefield shows up and you fight in it... Also, if the number of enemies increases, the distance of object PSP will draw decreases, That means if you have many enemies in which direction you are heading, your enemy will likely show up in right front of you out of no where.

Repetitve gameplay? Hack n' slash boring platformer? Awful voiceovers? sound familier? how about DW 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!? If you have already wasted your money on 4 or 5, don't bother buying this. just read a review for DW 4 or 5 and it's the same as this.

This game isn't as fun as the console's but if you want to play dynasty warriors on the go than this is the best choice. Its ok but its got a different style of gameplay than the console versions. You go into these things called liberation battles, and just travel around a map going to liberation battles, taking over a area, until you occupy the whole thing than you just go onto the next big map and do it again.

I liked this game because the dynasty warriors series is my favorite series of game for the ps2 and I always thought of how awesome it would be to be able to take it on the go with me practically anywhere i was. Well i got a psp for christmas and this game was my first buy. I dont really regret buying in because i got it for about $13.00 which is around hwo much I think its worth. $15-17 at most would be what I think about this games worth. So my final words are if you can find this game for under $20 and you love the console games than buy this.

This game is action packed and lots of fun to play.
What makes it different from the other DW games, is that you can choose your location and have 1-4 body guards.
