Tom Clancy never seems to ever to dissapoint me. From his books to the awesome video games he produces. I guess this is a review about a sequel to Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon Island Thunder, not a biography on Tom Clancy. Unlike the first game Island Thunder is mainly based on cool jungle combat with sweet visuals and improved graphics. Even though it is a shorter game than the first one it has that same Clancy touch, in fact the game is better in all aspects than the first Ghost Recon.
Gameplay: Just as good as the first Ghost Recon!!! 4/5

This game is basically just like the first one only with slightly better graphics. When I rented the first one I loved it and decided to buy this one when it came out. It's a good game but it's geared towards online play on Xbox Live, there aren't very many missions. Unless you have Xbox Live I wouldn't recommend this game. Insead get the original Ghost Recon or Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 which is an excellent game.

Ghost Recon Island Thunder is a fun to play game that's an even better experience if you have Xbox Live. The ability to download additional content and play the game multi-player greatly adds to the value of the original game. Even without Xbox Live, Ghost Recon Island Thunder is still money well spent. Enjoy!

just like ghost recon, island thunder is an amazing game with yet more guns and even better AI. If their were more levels, this would be the perfect game. Still, it is a solid game!

For the price, you're getting an awesome game. Improvements over the original (the graphics seem sharper). I have some complaints though. It would have beem cool to use the characters I had built up on the other game in the new one. Also, in the first game, you could use nightvision when it was foggy, and you could see far. This has been changed in game.
Buy it!

I like the squad action this game offers. Overall a pretty neat game for you and your pal to play. Or you can go it alone and command your computer teammates. Either way this game is good for small unit action.
If you like the 1st Ghost Recon you'll like this.
