Good game. Not as good as PC

This game has a decent storyline. The graphics are pretty good. It's just not as good as PC. It isn't as much fun to play.

I would rent this before you buy it.

The game worked and is lots of fun. Shipping was a bit high I think but game was in perfect condition as promised.

This is not a tactical shooter

This version of SWAT has one good quality, the graphics. The rest of this game is linear, easy and is not a tactical shooter.

You get three people on your team. A dude with a mask, some chick with a sniper rifle, and yourself (who looks like the guy from CSI).

This game is nowhere near realistic and I think that it is false advertising by saying that this game is a tactical shooter. This is a run and gun shooter. Even the original DooM wasn't this linear.

You want a real tactical shooter, buy Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon or Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.

I cannot like this game because I am used to better games. This game is not even worth renting. I cannot believe that I bought it. It was a blind buy and I regret it.

Poor SWAT sequel. Not the same standard at all.

Wish I did not buy it because the game is really dull and not as good as the other SWAT series games because they have tagged on some sort of a silly story that is not as dramatic as ANY type of SWAT gameplay that we have done before. The graphics however are good and the control easy to use but the game lacks any serious tone or theme, does not have that many functions (3 guns, 5 types of grenades, some updates for guns earned by tokens after you complete a level and 4 or 5 orders you can give to your team mates [max of two only team mates!]). It plays more like some Arcade game as you move about the levels. It is a serious step back in the wrong direction for the SWAT series. I would recommend renting this before you choose to buy it. It is only just okay but the gameplay value is not there and it misses suspense completely. YAWN.

Fans of the PC version may be disappointed!

This is a great game regardless of the fact that it's not as good as it's PC counterpart. You can't command your team to disperse grenades and you only have two team members. They're good for support and when they're required for specific tasks such as picking locks or hacking computer terminals. The AI is mediocre. At times you may order someone to cover a particular area and they'll just stand there watching the bad guys come at you. On Elite(hard) mode, the game starts out very easy and gets progressively harder. You earn points for capturing suspects (alive) which can be difficult at times. Points may be used to upgrade your weapons. This is a little cheesy, but it gives the game some replay value. It's also nice to have a 99 round magazine instead of 30. There are four weapons. Choose either the assault rifle, shotgun, Uzi or sniper rifle. The siper rifle can only be used on certain missions based on the storyline or in multiplayer split screen mode. You have night vision, a gas mask, CS Gas grenades, flash bangs and glowsticks at your disposal. The multiplayer split screen game is fun and has 10 separate missions. You can play all 21 single and 10 multiplayer modes in a time attack mode. As this would suggest, you run the missions on a timer. The graphics and sound are slightly above average. I don't have a communicator but I bet issuing verbal commands through the headset adds a little more realism. Overall a great game at a great price.

Your either SWAT or your not! This Game is filled with action, mystery, and surprise. It's the next Halo. How good are you? Challenge your self on many exciting frightful missions and skill levels. You won't be able to drop the controller. Defuse bombs, bust the bad guys, upgrade your weapons. There are lots of great tools such as gas masks, many types of grenades, and guns, night vision gogles, glow sticks, and binoccluars. The 2 player cooperative missions are excellent. Work as a team to complete many missions. Trust me buy this game! Check out the many other exciting features. Don't bomb yourself, buy it.

Sincerely,
Ultimate Swat Commander

Very misleading. Says online enabled at the top, making it seem like online multiplayer, it isn't. All you can do is download content and all they offer with that is a single stage. As far as single player goes, all you do is shoot these people once and then they surrender. Horrible gameplay, and voice commands don't work. It's too easy and a total waste of 50.00.

One of the Best FPS since Halo

SWAT: GST is an excellent game with few flaws. The gamepaly is excellent and provides fast-paced action. Despite it being a "Tactical Shooter," the games is more similar to Halo at times, wild firefights. The four weapons in the game are especially well-designed and you'll like using them, I love the assault rifle espiecially. The many weapon upgrades (ammunition, recoil, aiming, clip size) keep things interesting as well. The AI is excellent, your teammebers are actually helpful (never get stuck in walls, very responsive) instead of just being cannon foddler. The voice-regonition is good as well. The only bad points are that the game lacks length and story, I beat the single player in 2 days on easy. Also, the graphics are not superb, but relatively all right. Overall, if you want a good FPS for your xbox, this is the game to get.
