this game kinda blows. There must be like six songs that play throughout the entire game and none of them are good. Gameplay is kinda weak, but I'm not really into that whole fast and furious crap. I didn't keep this one for long.

Late.

Although the game is good I did not like the length of time that it got here. It was 4 days late. Game is awesome.

Terrible graphics, Terrible multi-player experience

The Gamestop store in Boston was giving this away for free, and now I know why. This NFS game is a complete letdown. Why, you ask? Here's why:

1. Graphics are third-rate You can go crash into a wall, but your car doesnt show as much as a scratch. So much for believable racing.

2. Multi-player option is a big letdown. For namesake you can play multiplayer, but wait till you play to see how far the game goes. Crashes everytime I play it.

3. Tracks: the music tracks are horrible. Nothing novel.

If you really want a good experience, I would highly recommend Burnout Revenge. Way better than this nonsense.

If you are a classic XBox owner, this game is a must have. From the drift races to the drag races to the sprints and circuits, this game (other than graphics) is much better than any Need For Speed game since. Pick it up here on Amazon, you can get it cheap. Hours and hours of fun!!

THIS GAME IS OKAY, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CARS?

If you like cars, this is the game for you. Buy it! You won't be disapointed, I wasn't. The few things that this game didn't include was the CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK option. This is not a very good thing, partially because the standard music is really bad, and that the songs repeat over, and over, and over, and over, and... well you get the picture. The second thing that I didn't like about NSFU2 was that there wasn't a great selection of cars in the Xbox version. Once you get to Level 2, the guidebook says that you will get an Audi TT, a Hummer H2, and many other cars. When I reached Level 2, all I got was the basic cars (Honda Civic, Mazda Miata, etc.) and an Escalade and Lincoln Navigator. HUH?! When I got to the shop and looked at the prices for the car parts, I nearly fainted. They were way more money then any pro-gamer could accumulate during 3 hours of play. Well, then there is the sense of speed. What is this all about!? The cars (not including the Miata) were very slow.

I eventually beat the game, but it took me a long time. Usually games take about 8 hours of playtime to complete, but this took months! If you are a hard-core gamer who wants a really cool racing game, this is definitly not the game for you. This game should really be sold to five year olds!

Glich in NFSU2: When you are on the main highway, go into the other lane and drive there for awhile without getting off the exit ramps. You soon will notice that there are no cars in your lane or the other lanes.

Driven To Speed

I always have been in the mood for all different kinds of video games, but the most excited I actually feel over are the fast and furious racing games. While there have been some great games like Mario Kart and the wild San Francisco Rush from the arcade days, I definitely have been becoming a big fan of the Need For Speed franchise. The game series definitely has delivered for gamers young and old like the pursuiting of the police in Hot Pursuit 2, and the recently well-received conjured Most Wanted. While the thrill of the chase has been outrageous, the deep souls of the street racing underground has been kind of a surprise to me.

Need For Speed Underground 2 for the Xbox really does deliver all the way. The game showcases you as a up and coming underground racer, trying to work your way through the undergound world of Bayview. The game highlights a mind-boggling 100 different tracks to unlock and play around with, from circuit races like the close and quick-driven Street X, traditional circuits and challenging drift races where it you have to score not by getting first place but by getting the best sliding successful drifts, all the way to exciting and wild point-to-point sprints and even the returning tests of the fierce drag races.

In the game, you also can unlock great cars like the Subaru Impreza WRX, the sleek Mazda RX-7, and the wicked classic Ford Mustang. It the game, it is not just vital to unlock cars, it is also vital to remodel them into fierce racers with customized parts like bmpers, soilers and tire rims. While the game does deliver, there are a few disadvantages to Need For Speed Underground 2. One of them is that it takes a little while to find your way in each way, and that can be very tricky at times for unlocking races like downhill drifts and the tight-wheeled Underground Racing League courses. Another one is that the story line in the game looks as if it has came out of a comic book, and not realy to where any of the characters are just talking directly to you. Nevertheless, it doesn't make a difference in the gameplay.

All in all, Need For Speed is a really wild game. At first, I considered rejecting the game because I had a tough time with the original Need For Speed Underground, but I was wrong. Need For Speed Underground 2 is a real must buy for Xbox owners. If you don't have this game for your Xbox, you don't really know what you're missing from the fireceness of the underground streets.

Fun Game....Useless Story Line

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 0 / 1

Overall, NFSU2 is a fun game. This game packs plenty of customization, open ended game play, decent soundtrack, and good graphics. Oh yeah, there is aslo some racing, which there are various types of racing. Also there is a range of difficulty; some races are easy to win, while others may take a few attempts to win. This could have easily been a five star game, but for some unknown reason, NFSU2 also includes several cut scenes that features a comic book style story line that does nothing to enhance the game in anyway at all. In fact, I thought the story line took away from the overall enjoyment of the game. The good news about the story line is that you can skip it with a press of a button. I would suggest using the button very strongly, unless you have a dissapointment fetish, skip it, because there is no payoff for sitting through it. I learned that the hard way. One other flaw of the game, there is a ton of product placement, but unlike the story line, it doesn't really have an imact on the gameplay.

Better Graphics than the 1st

It's not easy pleasing the eye of gamers especially me. I like the graphics and thought they were better than the 1st game. I got the one off of PS2. I'm just writing a review about it. This game is exciting that you get to race with other cars, sometimes get confused because some person might have the same type car. I like the different cars and designing them, but still have to unlock some of the decals and paints and other cars once you go into the career mode. And you get money, wish that was in my wallet. Although, they have SUVS that are in the game like the Lincoln Navigator, Hummer H2, and the Escalade. This is a game to make you play like you're in the Fast and the Furious, but not to be like the movie. And I'm sure this is the game for gamers to feel the adrenaline rush or otherwise, more movies from the Fast and the Furious. I guess. I like the airport mode, which is funny in the game, but looks realistic. The thing is I enjoyed playing the game and it gives me the adrenaline rush while playing it.

A definite must whether you like racing or blinging cars

This game is packed with so much cool stuff, all the real cars and accesories. The gameplay is excellent, and the cars are on point. Great graphics! There should be a little more goal oriented things, and they definitely need to involve Brooke Burke some more, or someone else if she's not doing NFSU 3. Perhaps some actual footage of the hostess? Still, this game is a hot one.
