Great Action Adventure Game

This game is one of the best values of the past year. It has it all. One of the better story lines for a video game, theatrical level cinematics and some chase scenes that actually make your heart thump.
The game starts out like a James Bond movie with the prologue scene before the credits. It's throws you right in to the action. The opening title sequence and song are almost worthy of one of the movies.
Each stage has three levels of difficulty you can switch back and forth on. I liked this because if I got bored or frustrated on the hardest (00 Agent) I could move down to Agent or the easiest setting, Operative and still advance in the game. The unlockable rewards and cheats give you an incentive to come back and try the stages again for a better score. Be warned, to attain a platinum on some of the missions is sometimes incredibly difficult and frustrating. It's also very rewarding when you make it through a mission under a crazy time limit or take on 30 or 40 goons with no damage.
There are certain spots where if you pull off a certain manuever you'll be treated to a little cut scene. One example is if you shoot a guy firing rockets at you with the sniper rifle you'll follow the bullet through the air as it hits the guy. Some of these scenes result in a Bond moment and are always exciting to pull off. A neat feature is the Bond sense that slows every thing down and high lights usable objects or items that can help you pull off a little stunt or Bond moment.
Game play is widely varied. There are stealth missions and straight out run and blast missions. There are combinations of the two and how you play sometimes defines how many bad guys come after you or how they react.
The vehicle missions are almost as much fun as the on foot ones. There are enough stunts to make you want to do the missions over just to catch stuff you missed the first time. The Daytona motorcycle chase on the bridge in Louisana is a blast.
I would highly recommend this game for fans of third person action titles.
A solid Bond game

As far as not just being another action game, this game satisfy the expectations. While playing, you feel like being in a James Bond mission. Locations, situations, gadgets, cutscenes, all contribute well to the results. Too bad they couldn't achieve the same in the following "From Russia with Love", despite Connery's involvement. If you are a Bond's fan, this game is worth it.
the complete Bond....

Ever since GoldenEye on the N64, good old 007 has tried numerous times to get back on track with a stellar game. Up until now they have met varying levels of success but all frail in comparison to EA Game's latest Bond adventure. Everything or Nothing is different from all previous Bond titles in that its a third person action title as oppossed to a limited first person shooter. Bond can do most anything you'd expect of him. He rappels, dives, punches, and drives assortments of vehicles while shooting through some very nice locations. Motorcycles, tanks, limos, helicopters, and of course your Aston Martin V12 Vanquish are all at your dissposal. Just make sure to keep them in one piece or you'll have Q all over you in a fit. The gameplay is very smooth and fluent. Bond can interact with most everything in his enviroment and use it to his advantage. The graphics are truly amazing and quite frankly, there aren't too many games that look this good. The game's character models look wonderful, like the real life voice actors such as Pierce Brosnan, Heidi Klum, Shannon Elizebeth, Willam Defoe, Judi Dench, John Cleese, and Richard Kiel. The action sequences are all top notch, worthy of the Bond name. There is a pretty extensive multiplayer component as well that supports 2 player cooperative missions. All in all there is no possible way to go wrong with this game. It is one of the best third person shooters avalible and is quite arguably the best Bond game since GoldenEye. Thanks for reading now go buy this game, you wont regret it.

This game is a dissappointment. After enjoying Nightfire i had come to think that the bond liscense was back on track, that's not the case. The combat engine seems to have been taken directly from Dead to Rights, then they through in a few vehicle missions, and then random missions like where you fall from a cliff and are trying to catch Shannon Elizabeth's character while dodging rocks. You hold a button, then a targeting recticle locks onto someone and then you hit the right trigger to shoot them, which in a way is far too simplistic, but to make it tougher they've set it up to seemingly always lock onto the most inconvenient enemy like one far away who is unaware of you while another closer enemy is killing you. Also the levels can be tedious and a bit too long, divided into segments so that once you get past say the first part every time you die you are reborn at the beggining of the second however, you cannot save there so I found myself forcing myself to keep on playing just so i wouldn't have to deal with the first part again. The multiplayer is tedious and more of a chore than anything. YOu cannot start off fighting with your friends you can only do co-op mode which has each of you as two unknown characters fighting through levels filled with doors that each of you has to coordinate your hitting the door open button. The game did have a few highlights like bringing Jaws back and the true to life voice, and face renditions are nice but overall i didn't think it overcame the games faults. There are however people who absolutely love this game. So i won't tell you not to buy it, but i will strongly recommend that you rent if first.

This game has so many good elements to it, I keep playing it even though the bad design elements are driving me nuts. I love the combat, the 3rd person perspective, and I love the targetting system. With the targetting you can lock on for quick fire fights, or when you have time to plan for a second, aim high, low, etc. The look and feel of the characters and environments is amazing.
What I like less about the game, is even though it appears that they give you the ability to use stealth and tactics, they very rarely actually give you that opportunity. No matter where you hide, everyone always seems to know where you are.
Lastly, the driving parts that I've seen so far are horrible. Here's an example of the first driving part: You dodge a wall of flame and head for a big gate, the gate is impenetrable, you lose. Start over, this time go through the flames, come to a gate, crash through. Next gate, can't crash through, but can shoot. Get to your objective and you are told to drive under it. For about the first 15 seconds, you can't drive under it, but then just before the level ends, the floor lowers and you can.
There are so many of these parts where there's no way to know what to do without trial and error (and if you fail you always start back at the beginning of the level) that it reminds me of playing the quarter-eaters at the arcade.
Don't just play Bond, BE Bond!

Playing this game wasn't like watching a Bond movie, it was like being James Bond! The amazing variety of the levels kept gameplay fresh and interesting, and the way you play those levels is up to you. You are rewarded with "007 moments" for acheiving the cool creativity of Bond (and often some over the top stunts cutscenes), but if you want to power through and do things with an old fashioned beat-down, it will work too. The levels are short but challenging, so that after just a few hours and a few levels under your belt, you feel a good sense of accomplishment, and it becomes very hard to put the controler down!
The voiceover work of the top level stars like Pierce Brosnan and Willem Dafoe made the experience even more enveloping, but the storyline gets a bit muddled with all the action (but isn't that true of the movies as well? Who goes to a Bond movie for the storyline?). But whether running and gunning, powersliding under an exploding tanker, or base jumping sans parachute, one thing you will never be is bored.

All I can say is wow! This game is by far the best James Bond game ever released for any gaming system. The new 3rd Person view is makes looking around corners and checking behind you a lot easier. Also there are a whole new variety of Q gadgets including the Q-rappel, the Q-spider, the Remote control car, thermovision and a lot more.
PROS:
New 3rd person view
A huge variety of new and exciting levels in over 4 different locations
The graphics are un-surpassed
There are multiple ways to finish missions
CONS:
Well, there aren't really any cons except that some of the levels can be difficult at times (but all the more challenging!!)
