SHAME ON ME FOR NOT GIVING THE HITMAN TITLES IN THE PAST A GLANCE
PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF GAMES BETWEEN ALL THREE CONSOLES IT SOMETIMES HAPPENS A GAME OR TWO SLIDE BY WITHOUT PLAYING .THIS TIME A BIG MISTAKE HITMAN IS ANOTHER CLASSIC STEALTH SNEAKY GAME LOVE THE CHANGING OF THE CLOTHES AND THE GADGETS ARE GREAT ALSO GRAPHICS A PLUS ALONG WITH THE KILL ATTACKS ARE GREAT AND STORY IS GOOD IT SEEMS LIKE AGENT 47 HAS ALOT OF PEOPLE COUNTING ON HIM TO FINISH OFF THE BAD GUYS.ALSO THE CUT SCENES ARE REALLY COOL ALONG WITH THE SOUNDTRACK AS WELL
ALLIN ALL GOOD GAME AND DOSENT TAKE LONG AT ALL TO MASTER THE CONTROLS AND BECOME A HITMAN YOURSELF DEFINETLY A BUY NOT A RENT
GO OUT AND SPEND THE 50 BUCKS AND JUST POP IT IN AND START KILLING .I ALSO CHOOSE THE XBOX VERSION TO MY LIKING!

this game is horrible. the best part of the game was the training mode, where you could run around and shoot moving targets like duck hunt. even then, the controls were worse than GTA. it's difficult to shoot accurately. the programmers know this, thats why as long as the target turns red, its a hit, even if it looks like a no chance shot. You can drag bodies and switch clothes, but it all seems rather pointless. you can try and sneak around, but it seems like it doesnt matter. you can just kill them however you want anyway. reloading is riduclously slow too, and before you die, time slows down and so it seems like it takes f o r e v e r. There are a lot of other games out there. I don't recommend wasting cash on this one. if you're looking for a shooter like halo, try kill switch. if you're looking for a sneak around game like metal gear, try tenchu. if you're just looking for more violence, take it up a notch and try manhunt. save your money and pass on hitman.

I loved this game .The best way to play it is to try to get silent assasin on every level.This game is more of a stealth and thinking mans game ,although you can run and gun on some missions.... but thats not why your called "SILENT ASSASSIN" like on Hitman2.This is my 2nd favourite game after Splinter Cell :pandora tomorrow.If your a fan of stealth and cunning ,then get this game.This is more of an adult themed game .I cant wait for the next one.That GAMEINFORMER EDITOR missed the point of this game .. HITMAN is a (stealth) game ,its waaaaaay EASY just to (run and gun in this game) Actually the RUN & GUN feature of this game is WEAK...... its no HALO.The thing that made it more challenging for me was to get "SILENT ASSASIN" on every level.

Beat this game in two days. You can beat it in two hours if you run through, indiscriminately killing. Why not? We're Americans, born and raised on the philosophy- Work smarter, not harder. Guess the foreign programmers didn't take that into account. It's alright, we still have Halo.

To put it simply, this game rocks. If you like Splinter Cell and you love GTA then you're gonna love this game. I haven't finished it yet but I'm about 85% done and I'm already dreading the end!

Weapon choices are great... Use of strategy vs. muscle is great... and the fact that if one tactic fails you can keep going on with another or just start over again. You can save anywhere - awesome! (even tho I forget to half the time because I'm so involved with the game)

You gotta get this game.. it simply kicks ass!

I was and still am a HUGE fan of Hitman 2 - freaking awesome game. I'm also not all that big on trying to complete missions with a silent assasin rating... Nor do I run n' gun... I'm kinda in-between, shoot a couple guys, but remain stealthy, no close encounters, etc.

This game is fairly absurd. Without a strategy guide, it's nearly impossible to figure out the small things like poisoning food, etc... For instance, Beldingford Manor, you have to poison and kill the horses with gas so they don't smell you, but first kill the stable guy to get his key, then find a water heater and turn it off so some lady in a shower won't be there when you go through the hidden door... the only problem is, there are no real clues and these kind of things are nearly impossible to figure out on your own, the game just gets daunting, and simply "that didn't work, reload and try a different approach" - it gets old FAST - this is the FIRST game I've had to get a strategy guide for in YEARS.... it's just that silly. Yet I was able to work my way through Hitman 2 with a few drawbacks and reloads, but it was reasonable.

I honestly don't recommend this game all that much, the plot is non-existent... and there is no real mission briefing, you aren't "traveling" around as a hitman like in H2 - you simply are just "there" in the levels... rather stupid.. and kills the whole "point" of playing the mission... just seems pointless...

The game is not that much fun compared to hitman 2, to hard to play silent without strategy guide and completely lacking a plot or "point" to even play the game...

It's still an OK game regardless, but many players will not enjoy it.

Anyone who has played Hitman:Silent Assassin will notice this is the same game. I think they had this one in the bag for 2 years and just waited to release it. Some of the missions are the same as Hitman: Codename 47. The whole game is flashbacks and then finally the last mission continues the plot with little advancement...very dissapointing.

If you can't get enough stealth action or running around killing (dont play this game on normal mode, waste of time) you'll probably dig it. If you want a storyline and some sort of point to it, you're not going to get it. This game is re-hashed european crap. If you want to try Hitman, buy Silent Assassin for $20.

Let me start by saying that the story is Gay Hitman 2's story about the priest getting captured at least is a story this one he has a flashback every mission, the missions are good though the first mission is o.k,the second mission The one in the meat factory was hard,the third the one in Siberia was hard i kept getting killed by radiation till i figured it out,those missions are good but Belidford Manor the 4th mission kicks all the another missions ass you can kill the horses, poison the whiskey choke the sleeping guy good game but also you have to look at the map alot, and the same old hitman formula try until you figure it out is once again here.

This game delivers an open ended game that you could play over and over again. You have the option to choose endless chooses on how to complete missions and the environment allows open ended game play. I played this game non-stop and couldn't put down my controller. This game is the most challenging game that I ever played. The people that say this game stinks have never played this game. My friends are all buying this game after playing it over my house.
