what the ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 Rating: 1, Useful: 2 / 7

Why is it only one player??????????? The only reason the first one was fun was because you could play with four players, idiots. Nice job ruining a good game

Amazon has stated the ""1 Player is a Miss-print""!!!

I have contacted Amazon about the ""1 Player", & is it correct or a missprint?.... Yes!!! Its a miss print, """Desert Storm II Back to Baghdad, The Xbox version features an exclusive four-player split-screen coopeative mode for brilliant multiplayer action. You can actually play through all the missions with three of your buddies.""" Amazon will see about fixing the missprint. I hope this helps.

Frustrating and Hard at First...very fun later

I never got to play Conflic: Desert Storm I ...but what i can tell from the demo on Xbox the second is a very action packed and entertaining game...You get to shoot people, run up and plant C4 on tanks and while your running away you get to turn back click a little remote detinator and blow it up...what more could you ask for

Misprint For a GREAT GAME

OK firt of all....GET A GRIP. It's a miss print all right, and this game looks to be even funner than the first. I havent played this game yet(it just came out today), but I've been to their site and read articles in magazines and it sounds like it's a great game. If you play by yourself the game gets old real fast, but with your 3 best friends it's awesome. And there is nothing like staying up all Saturday night with a case of Mountain Dews playing this game screaming every once in a while, "Iraqi Down!" (what the guys say in the game). YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!!!!

This is a 4-player Game

Amazon currently lists this game as a 1-player game but it is just like the first in that it has up to 4 player co-op play.
The best way to play this game is with 2 people where each person controls two soldiers. That way you are yelling at each other when a tank kills almost all your troops.
This game jumps right into the action where the first left off. In fact it was so suprising I didn't know what I was doing and was shooting my own teammates in the middle of a huge firefight within 20 seconds of starting the game.
There seems to be some more variety as far as missions and equipment but for the most part this game has retained everything from the first.

Oh yeah there are vehicles. Its kinda like a Halo Warthog only they don't drive like a zero-gravity bumper car. The vehicles in this game drive much more like I imagine a jeep would drive.
I wish this game were longer though because when it ends I just want to keep going.

I rented this just a few days after it came out and it sucks! If your looking for a good war game the first one is better. it is third person view the graphics are better than the first one but the story line in genral sucks plus, there isnt a big ending

An awesome squad shooter!!!

I'm very impressed with the improvements added that have made this title better. First is the ability to combat roll in the prone position. Second and most important is the improved enemy A.I. and overall apperance of graphics(with the exception of the new Jones). The combat system feels more solid in execution, however bodies still vanish and you still have to locate weapon caches for ammo. This sequel is based more on urban combat(and we're talking some big, intense maps here) than on the open desert fighting of the first game. The X-box version still has the great multi-player cooperative format, which is the best feature of the game.

The game rocks

This game is awesome. people are saying that this game is not good. they are just haters.the game is 4 players. you can play 4 players in the storyline. this game rocks. the first one is good but it is not better than II. I recomend this game highly. It is so fun. You can get cheat codes at www.cheatcc.com. The commands are even better on this game. The only thing i dont like about this game is that their are only 10 missions and the first one had 15. this game has non stop action pack adventure.

One Flew Over the Iraqi Nest

First off let me say that there are a few problems with the reviews here. One being that most people have the game rated at 0 stars, but when reading the review it obviously should get more. Secondly, if you've read the reviews, yes it is not a one person game, but 4 players. Anyway, getting to the game, let's just say it's awesome. Firstly, any game that has custom soundtracks makes the action 10 times better. Throw in the soundtrack for Black Hawk Down, or some good death metal and the adrenaline will start pumping. This game is much more challenging than the first, enemies don't stop attacking which means you'll have to set up your soldiers in positions while another advances, it makes it much more realistic. Not to mention the Iraqi's have impecable aim. On that note, for being special forces, these guys sure do shoot off-target, the problem being that when your soldier aims at an enemy he aims at him. Anyone that's ever played a first person shooter or shot at a moving target in real life knows that you have to lead it. This results in hitting the target while it's moving. I spent 100 rounds firing at a moving target. It gets annoying. But you live and you learn, and you wait for it to stop moving. Another good thing about the tank AI is that when a tank rolls in it faces you. This means that you have to find a way around the side or back to blow it up. This usually results if you lay down some smoke bombs to cover your soldier. Sometimes you even have to lay C4 on the tank and blow it. Bottom line, it's a good game, although it only took me 3 days to beat, they should have had more than 10 missions.

Total trash

I was looking forward to this after enjoying the first one. I was very excited about it having X-Box Live but found out that was a huge lie. Gotham Games needs to sit down with Tom Clancy to get going in the right direction for military style games. This thing still does not let you customize your weapon load out so your stuck with what they give you. Like Cpl. Jones blowing off all his ammo very quickly with that sorry MP-5. Pay attention no one goes into combat in a desert environment with a close quarters weapon. With the occasional building to enter is what your pistol or M-4 is designed for. Camera angles in many spots are very bad and your soldier often blocks your view. The game was also very short it was over too quickly with a very poor ending. I think I will stay away from Gotham Games for a while.
