This game is one of the greatest xbox games ever. When I saw it in the clips of E3 I was really excited. Then it came out and
I rushed to the store and bought it . It was way better than I expected.The Levels are beutifully designed, great gameplay you can even go buy things at a store like bigger and better time sweepers. If you like platformers or any games in general I would extremely reccomend this game!

i got this game instead of NFL 2k3. what was i thinking? i thought you could slow time anytime. instead you have to use moons, triangles, heats, stars in a certain pattern to get slow, stop. 4 out of 10 times i'll get FF, RW, slow, stop or record.

This is my favorite game of all time! I was looking for a certin game that would be fun, but it was quite hard since most of the games I like are for Plastation 2,then I found this.I love it! Everything is great although I wish they should have added multiplayer and co-op like the second version,(which was way too easy.) it is easy at first but gets harder as you go, i haven't fininshed it yet but im on level 8,there are 3 stages in a level and a shop(where you can buy equitment and clothes.)and a boss at the last stage that you have to beat to onto the next level.I love the fact that you play as a cat( I love cats!) and that you can control time! Some of the other reveiws said this game was stupid or way to easy, well they probably said it was stupid because they hate cats or are not into these kinds of games and the game is soooo not easy!(they probably quit on level one asuming that the whole game is easy(Wrong!)This is an awsome game! Can I give it 6 starzs?

As a twenty something who is nostalgic for games like Nintendo's Super Mario Bros 3, I was excited to find Blinx. I was worried (because of the cartoon cat as the main character) that it would only be targeted for young kids but was pleasantly surprised to find myself challenged by it after the first couple worlds. I'd definitely recommend this game!

Me and my homes were playin dis game, and at first, it seemed why this game was perhaps the Xbox E3 game of the year, but my homes shouda listend to gamespot, but he didn't and the game got frustrating down da road, basicly on controls, and and time sweepin, and the story is rather dull, and we were lookin up stratagy guides to find an easier way to go on on this part, but we had to look up reel good, and it took us a while to beat this game. Frustrating, but fun going through the levels, cuz my friend basicly did all the work. So I recomend this game to people looking 4 a frustratin challange that'll make em' slam their controller, others, maybe a rent.

blinx the timesweeper is the best game you will find anywhere. The graphics speak for them selves and the gameplay is amazing,i have already pre-ordered 6 copies. the story is about blinx an average day time janitor who cleans up magical crystals so they don't mess up time but when he hears that a princess is taken hostage and someone is stealing the crystals to use their magic fo evil he take matters into his own hands.control blinx as you have the power of time to destroy enemies and collect time crystals before the bad guys get them.along the way you might want to try and free the princess.Who needs 9 lives when you control time?

I wanted to buy Blinx just because of what I've seen and heard in reviews. The game is fun but a little tough at times and it does get a bit frustrating. I haven't been playing it as much as I thought I would. Honestly, either rent it from the video store or buy it on ebay.. don't pay full price for this game.

Time and Time again, Blinx is an awesome experience.

Mascots have to be the hardest thing for a video game company to establish. They are truly hit or miss when it comes to success and are beloved or hated by gamers based their appeal and gameplay. Mario wasn't actually an overnight success but now there cannot be a Nintendo system without a Mario game to go with it. Sega made one of the only *slight* successes at making a rival mascot with their blue-blur Sonic. But after that many have tried and many have failed...Sony first tried with that strange polygon head Enos (sic) and then almost had Crash Bandicoot but that didn't last and a change in developer may bring the marsupial into obscurity. Microsofts first outing gives us Blinx, a time sweeping cat that is out to clean up time, using his trusty time sweeper he can control time and use it to defeat enemies and complete level objectives. With Artoon being the developer (former Sonic Team Members) a very unique and cool premise plus an awesome character design things are set for greatness. But a few minor flaws and some closed minded individuals keep this game from rising towards the top.
Graphics: Everything works here, lighting textures, animation. The kooky world is set with odd building designs and bizarre creatures. Blinx looks and moves amazing with awesome facial expressions. Lighting is colorful and well placed. Sound: Blinx does say much and the music isn't the worst or always the best. All the other sound effects work and fit in with the setting. Control: Blinx handles marvelously jumping from ledge to ledge aiming at enemies traversing the terrain is all pretty simple and easy to do. The time controls are setup nice and wrap up Blinx control package nicely. But then there is the camera, the tight level design leaves the camera nowhere to go and the control range of movement they give for the camera isn't enough, not the worst camera in video game history but it can get in the way from time to time. Gameplay: Its all about using your imagination and experimenting with the time controls. The unique concept for the game lends it way to very cool and original ways to find items, defeat enemies and complete levels. Some of these ideas could have been implemented better and the level designs are nice but the areas are sometimes a little to tight and narrow. Replay: Tons of levels to explore and given the games premise you have to explore a level a couple times over making for a decently long platformer, but the ramping difficulty of later levels may turn may people away (not as frustrating as some Sunshine levels though). Tons of secrets and unlockable items (though some of the early secrets are rather bizarre and quite useless) still a lot to see and do here. Overall: Like many games I play this is NOT for everyone but if you like having to really think your way through a game and are looking for something is unique, original and fun to play Blinx is definitely worth a look.

All of you people and your bad reviews,your to used to bloody games only.You like to be killing on games.The levels are awsome and the graphics are out of this world.All you people who hate it have no taste in games.The challenge is intense, I played for hours,this was an amazing game.A word so big good to describe it ,UUUUHHHH,Fangreatawezing.Better,khfkbdkfdbdslbfdbsbdsknksnkn.Now if only that were a word................SO GREAT SO COOL SO AMAZING!
