A Fun Game for Everyone

I don't know what it is with all the lower reviews for Tetris Worlds but I had to write a review to speak up about this wonderful game. Yes, it is not the original Tetris. It was not meant to be a copy of the original game. What it is, though, is a fun and addictive game. You will find yourself losing track of time if you play this game. The graphics are nice and the sound is great, too. I found this game to be entertaining for an older gamer like myself. I am sure that young gamers will enjoy it, too. We need to stop comparing sequels to their predecessors and start appreciating games for their own value.

When I ordered this item, I was intending to buy a computer version (CD) I instead got the nintendo version and I don't own an nintendo, (may I please exchange it for the correct item?)

I got this game thinking it was going to be like my other tetris game I had on my old computer. I must say I was very disappointed in it and the store wont take it back as its been opened, arghhhhhhhhh. Anyway, it takes forever to move on to the game. You have to go through all this crazy world stuff first. (...) But thats what it sounds like. I wont let me 7 year old play and I sure dont like listening to this women. The game would have be fine had they left all the nonsense out of it. But I'm looking for a better version of this game. I wouldnt recomend buying this item at all. This game went in the garbage and I took a money loss.

You have blocks and you make them fall on other blocks! Think about the blocks your squashing this game looked like a perfect game for my son, then I saw him jumping on his friends. Thats when I decided I should watch the games he played. I took one look and then burned this game. He will just have to go back to playing his M (Mother approved) And AO games (adolecents only). I am sorry that at the top of my review it says a gamer which i'm certainly not, I am a concerned parent.

i'm not a big tetris fan, but i heard this game was ok. So i bought it and thought it was terrible but i played it some more and it got a little better i'm still going to keep, you should rent it first.

Very hard to get started.

I found the game very hard to pick the type of game you wanted to play. If you played multi-player and reached a certain level the worst player would still end up beating you. Didn't like too much.

Tetris is a really cool game....when you play it the normal way. My favorite tetris was The New Tetris because it was like the first one ever created and it was fun. This one is stuped. The most stuped thing is that lady talking everytime you get a line. Also its stuped how you have to keep on playing and playing. They have arcade mode but still its not to much fun!

Tetris Worlds provides several different ways to play Tetris. All the games are addictive, fun, and a lot more complicated than one would think.

However, the blocks are very difficult to see! The production staff created a washed-out, pastel look to the blocks that makes them transparent. The colors are often impossible to differentiate. Every time I play, I get a headache from squinting so much!

It's a shame that this defect ruins a perfectly good game.

The Worst Tetris Game Ever

I bought this game hoping that I could play Tetris on a much bigger screen. I have Tetris games for Gameboy Color and Gameboy.

The color of the blocks, and the "wind" during the game, make the blocks very hard to distinguish, and very disturbing. Solid color for the blocks are much more preferable.

The game makes my eyes hurt every time I play it. I will have tears go all the way down to my chin, and I have to stop. I could not play this game for over 10 minutes. My highest Tetris score on Gameboy Color is 8 million. It is very frustrating for me not being able to play the Tetris on GameCube solely because it hurts my eyes. I could not enjoy the game in any way. I have not played any game that can make my eyes hurt like this.

I am an adult game player. My daughter gave me a gamecube for my birthday.

I just bought Tetris Worlds and it is really a great game. I have most of the other Tetris games for gameboy advance. I do believe you have to be a Tetris fan to enjoy this game. If you are you will not be disapointed.
Keep your eye on the clock because time flys by when you are playing this game.
