Best RPG on the Cube Yet!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 16 / 26

I had a blast with this game. The battles are fast, furious, and best of all, fun! The story is engrossing and won't let go of you until the last movie has played, the credits have rolled, and even then there's more in store for you! This game is easily recommendable to almost anybody.

Better than the PS2 version!

Summoner: A Godess Reborn for GameCube is a renamed and somewhat upgraded port of Summoner 2 for Playstation 2. The game plays alot like Zelda, you wonder around various worlds completing tasks and fighting bad guys as the plot movies along. You can rotate control of 2 and sometimes 3 characters at a time by pushing left on the control pad, which is a great addition. The game is a decent RPG and definately worth a pick up consitering GameCube doesnt really have a wealth of RPG's. Summoner: A Godess Reborn features improved character models, high resolution picture and much better frame fate than its PS2 counterpart, and Cranky Pants who ported this game has really improved the control. If you dont already own this game for PS2, or already do and would like to see the game in a new light, this game should not be missed.

I am a fan of RPG's, and have played lots of them; on Gameboy, SNES, N64, and Gamecube. Summoner 2 is a fun game with amazing graphics and a very interesting story. However; this game can be really hard at times, especially during the boss battles. You are thrown into a very difficult battle from the very begining of the game, and it just gets harder from there. It also takes an excruciatingly long time to build your characters levels after the first 10 or so. Bottom line, get this game if you want a fun RPG with great graphics and story; but be prepaired to spend hours upon hours building your characters levels if you expect to complete it.

difficult but fun as hell

In the beginning it is way to hard, then after awhile it slaps your face on how hard it can be.Yet,because of this challenge, I want to try over and over agian to beat the game.It has great graphics and a great plot line, but very confuseing.
