BEST STRATEGY GAME

I enjoy anything from strategy games to role playing games, and this game is one of the best I've played. The graphics are excellent, and the historical scenarios are challenging. I recommend this game to anyone who is interested in strategy games. This game is definitely a winner; I hope that firefly studios will come out with an improved version. 5 ***** to STRONGHOLD CRUSADER!

For an expansion this game is a must have if you liked the original Stronghold. There was A LOT more game play in this expansion than I thought there would be. On the down side the campaign has no real plot but it was still fun to play. I am glad I bought it.

this is really a great game. I dont think its quite as good as the original stronghold but ts pretty close! It gives u a different thing to do. All resource come in faster so it more fast paced. i would definetly reccomend it!

Super game. Best graphics of any game I have seen. Shuold have been game of the year. Easy to learn and outstanding fun. A must have game. An unbelieveable price for under $10.

I have been playing "Stronghold: Crusader" for years.
It is a little old but the graphics are still decent and the game play is great.
Lots of economy building with castle building.
Lots of fighting too.

It is a combination of SIM and RTS with siege battles.
This is a very unique game that is very different from other RTS games.
There is a lot of strategy to implement here and it is fun to play against 3 or 4 opponents at once and take them out one by one.
Lots of cool units and the siege weapons are fun to play with.

This game cost only $10, so it is really a good deal.
It will also run great on older PC's.

Please note that "Stronghold 2" and ""Stronghold: Legends" are not that good compared to "Stronghold: Crusader".

This game is a must for any RTS fans.

this game is the best game ever! unlike games where the archers stand ther shooting arrows at the knights wyll the knight is standing there chopping him inhalf the archer will pull out a dagger and fight back(alot good thatll do but still its cool).
This game lets you build your own castle and battle against differant enemies. there are enemyies that are english and they will use the english units and there are units that are arabian and they will use arabian units and you can use one or the other or both.it basically is action packed simple fun.
its worth every penny you have. and if you get this game you can have fun stealing there money too.

I played the first stronghold and was very happy whith it,it had a good plot and fun levals.This one has ok levals even though they all are the same but with a differn't bad guy to fight.The other thing is were is the story plot like in the old one were the people talk to you before and afer each leval and tell you what's going on,rather than just playing a bunch of levals for no reason at all were is the fun in that.

If you have ever played Stronghold you probably have a good idea about the sequal already. I do recomend you get the 1st original stronghold first because it will teach you everything you need to know to stand a chance in crusader. Here...I'll list some improvments that Firefly Studios introduced in Crusader. In the original Stronghold it was always a castle verse an army, armies.But Crusader really improves on this and has placed 2 castles on a map. The computer will also build up an economy and send troops at random to attack your castle. Also the buildings have a new cool look.And the ballista's from the original Stronghold are now mounted up on wheels and towers! Being in the desert you have to supply water to your people. Much more impressive and even looks better on the computer screen than the original Stronghold. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 because you will get tired of it eventually. When this happens wait a couple of days and start thinking about what your new castle will look like. You'll be back on it for another non-stop year.

Fans of the original Stronghold already know that this series offers real time strategy as you build a booming economy and crush your foes with Medieval troops. Well, this is the same thing...only more so. Perhaps the most important addition is the Mercenary Post, where you can purchase the services of Arabian troops to augment your Crusader forces. This sequel is rare in the fact that while it has advanced greatly, it has also lost nothing in the process. I just wish I was as good at controlling troops as I am at building economies....Buy this game. Do it! Do it now!

I had purchased the original Stronghold and had found it great within a very short while. Once I saw Stronghold Crusader on the store shelf at a fairly low price, I couldn't go wrong. This is a heck of an amazing game and I reccommend it to anyone who enjoys castle building, stratgegy games and the ability to play online. This game may also suprise you in that if you may not normally like strategy games but like this one. If you are familiar with this series, you may know what I mean when I say some of the improvements are assassins who scale walls to slice apart enemies, fire throwers to throw fire at enemies, slaves to burn down buildings and horse archers who ride around throwing arrows. You also could set up a mercenary post to hire even more great warriors, so this game is full of surprises. My suggestion--Buy and enjoy!!!
