Horrible!!!!!

A horrible mario wanaa be, what a disgrace krabbie patties are 1ups instead of green mushrooms, kelp mustashes give turn you into a men instead of super mushrooms that turn you into giant. Spongebob is ugly and a horrid character american animations for kids are horrible. Japanese animated characters look better. Every american animated charecters have square heads bodies polygonic characters very easy to draw. Overall spongebob is pathetic, the movie is bad too my smaller brother made me wach it and I hate it. "Join mega man x instead he's more powerful than nickelodeon's pitiful characters Mega man x is better"

The brutal difficulty level on the final boss battle in this game just ruined it for me. Who in the world do they think is playing a game like this? Hardcore Halo fans? If you don't care about finishing a game I guess it doesn't matter. Otherwise expect your little one to be in tears over this.

Not too good to be bought.

I played this game over at my freind's house & it was hard.
i disliked this game because it was hard!

Won't load on Win98

This might be a great game, but my son will never know. After taking forever to load, it won't run on Win98. Gives the very descriptive error message "this program has performed an illegal operation and is closing". The CD case says it will work with Win98, and two other Spongebob games he has work just fine. At least this was a gift so I wasn't the one who forked over $40 for a frisbee.

Only for one player

My kid loves this game, but the bad part is that only allows one player and it's not really fun for him because he can't play and enjoy when his friends are around. The other thing is that Game Cube games scratch easily. How do you keep a Four old from doing that?

once you get pretty far in this game it gets VERY DIFFICULT. I hope this review isn't deceiving. If you enjoy Spongebob and have seen the movie, you will really like this game as I do, as hard as it tends to become. Perhaps it's because getting near the end of the game is the toughest challenge. Then the levels will seem almost impossible to beat. You'll see what I mean if you're planning on getting this game. Anyway, it's pretty good. You get the idea that it follows the exact same story, though. The game has realistic graphics and it could get involved if you let it. 4 and half stars overall.

This game is a lot like Battle for Bikini Bottom. Great graphics, great sound effects, and challenging levels. My kids love Spongebob and they love playing their gamecube. It's a perfect combination.

The story of the game is great. I loved the action.I dont think much of the graphics.This game is fun.The problem is once you have beat the game, and you play it again its not as fun as it was the first time.It takes a smart person to play this game.This game is easy to get bord of. It requires the ability to read and move your hands fast.

My 6 yr. old son is a diehard Spongebob fan. This game is ABSOLUTELY great! I got it for him shortly after watching the movie last year when he was 5 and he couldn't put it down to stop playing with it. The graphics are great; the music is GOOBERSPECTACULAR!!! It didn't take him long to beat the game but he will often come back to play with it because it is so much fun. So whether you want to play as Spongebob or Patrick, his starfish friend, young & old will enjoy yet another KRUSTY KRAB adventure.

Please note: At first I was going to give this a bad review because enemies kept firing down on us. Apparently we needed a special upgrade to send the shots flying back to the enemies.

My little brother wanted to get this game because he loved the SpongeBob movie. He sometimes uses his spare time to play this game, and I enjoy playing this game as well.

Likes:

-You can play as either SpongeBob or Patrick, each with their own special abilities.

-In certain levels, you can drive vehicles like the Patty Wagon or the bathtub.

-There are hidden treasure chests. Collect them to unlock certain things like art galleries or sound tracks.

-With enough points, you can use special upgrades.

-You can go back to certain levels to see if there's anything you missed.

-My little brother thinks the final boss is easier than most levels. Turn over the tables while avoiding King Neptune's shots. When King Neptune gets angry and fires lasers at you, hide behind Mr. Krabs. King Neptune should get dazed. While he's dazed, hit the bucket helmet with the Sonic Jam Guitar. Keep doing this until the bucket helmet breaks off.

Dislikes:

-When you complete the challenges for vehicles, it may be hard to look for treasure chests, due to the time limit.

-Patrick's throw upgrade is hard to control. You have to tap lightly on the trigger in order for Patrick to throw normally.

Overall, 4 stars. If you liked the movie, you might like this game.
