And the fact that you fight against classic scooby villians makes it all the sweeter!!! Do yourself a favor oh scooby fans. . .play this game!!!

This was our first gamecube game and there could not have been a better beginning game! It is so much fun! The characters are very well made and the coloring and sound are exactly like the cartoon. It's like being a part of the show.
Guaranteed Fun!

I've played this game more than once. But I have to admit I never finished it because it became too hard late in the game. Not to say that I won't sometime. The thing is it's really fun. Game Play is smooth. And you can explore many great areas and worlds. It's true to the cartoon. Don Knotts is even a character in the game. The story is good, the monsters are great, the scenery is great. Let me caution you against playing the game with cheats. As the game can not be finished that way. That's according to Nintendo themselves. And there is no ActionReplay code for it. This is one great game set in a myriad of haunted worlds.
EXCELLENT

THIS GAME IS SURPRISINGLY GOOD. THE GRAPHICS GET BETTER AS THE GAME GOES ON. LOTS OF LEVELS AND VERY CHALLENGING.
DOWNFAALS ARE MINOR, HE HAS TO GO BACK TO LEVELS WHEN HE AQUIRES NEW POWERUPS, AND SOMETHINGS THAT HE HAS TO JUMP FOR ARE TO HIGH FOR HIM TO REACH.
BUT OTHER THAN THAT I GIVE IT 5 STARS
10stars if could

Most of these games get boring quickly. This one I found fun and challenging. With each level the difficulty increased. All in all I enjoyed playing this game. After all it is Scooby!!!

My eleven-year-old daughter received this game as a Christmas gift and I don't know whether she or her dad is having more fun with it!
We all love Scooby! The jumps and tasks are interesting and challenging enough for my daughter and her dad works at mastering all the levels and finding new ways to get the highest score in the least amount of time.
The younger children love trying to make Scooby eat the snacks and jump over monsters.
They all love living out the mystery and as newbies to the GameCube world, we enjoyed this one tremendously!
It's a great gift too!
Pretty darn good game

This game is one of the best i've played for the gamecube so far. It's challenging, has a nice plot, takes a fair amount of time to complete, and has some comical elements as well. Some areas of the game are so challenging they're frustrating, and you'll be so happy when you get through it you'll quickly run to a mystery machine to save the game so you don't have to go through it again. It challenges you to think about how to get some of the monster tokens and some of the scooby snacks. The puzzles aren't super difficult, but they do give a fair amount of difficulty. i really like the cut scenes in the game; they remind me so much of the cartoon and they're cool. The only thing that keeps me from giving the game a perfect 5 stars is that all of the bosses (except for the mastermind) are too easy to defeat. everything else about the game is exceptional. The game is definitely worthy for buying.
Nicely Done

The folks at THQ did a fine job of making this game. You can play it for hours and hours. This is how the ratings go:
Graphics: 4.5/5
The graphics are very nice. They're clean and look very realistic.
Controls: 4.5/5
The controls are very easy to learn and handle. Moving Scooby Doo at times can be difficult, but not to often.
Storyline: 4/5
The storyline is what you'd expect. Scooby and the gang are called to solve a case of a disapperance of Daphne's friend's uncle, the famous inventor Alexander Grahm. The gang splits up. Scooby and Shaggy are together and Shaggy gets kidnapped. Scooby is all alone and thats when you first take control.
Fun: 4.5/5
The game overall is a blast. I'm 12 and it is still a fun game. you have to go to different places and collect monster puppets of classic villains from the show, such as the Creeper and Witch Doctor. It can be challenging at times, but it is worth it. I feel this game is an instant buy.
An easy, relaxed game

For those of you who are tired of game that are prone to inducing epileptic seizures then Scooby Doo!: Night of 100 Frights in the kind of simple game you get into.
The story has Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma get kidnapped by The Mastermind (Tim Curry, in his second outing as a Scooby Doo baddie) and Scooby must rescue them from a spooky mansion.
Not the most imaginative of plots but it's loads of fun playing Scooby. The levels are kind of easy at first but complicate, only slightly, soon after the first power up. You get infinite lives so if there is a certain level you get stuck at, you can try again and again until you get it right.
The opening FMV has very bad graphics but the graphics of the actual game are nice and colorful. The music is pleasant enough but it gets slightly annoying after a while.
Definitely a game for children of 5 years and up (um...adults too) as the puzzles are not too heavy and the gameplay is light and easy. Worth the money for sure. The only bad part of the game is the inability to control the viewpoint. Many lives are lost because you cannot see where Scooby is jumping to. It's a minor complaint of an otherwise cool game.
