How many people went to the store and said, "Hooray a new rocket power game!" Thats right. 2. Very dumb gameplay and takes away what the also boring show is about, sports. The game is about kids who are glued to there equipment like skateboards and run around shooting hockey-pucks at trash can shaped robots. What? This game has awful graphics, is very repetitive and has awful controls and aiming. Not to mention bad cinematic sequences. Also this game is addictive in a bad way. I kept saying to myself, "I have to get further maybe the fun part is toward the end like the box says." Nope none of that. Unless you are not one of the two Rocket Power fanatics you can definitely live without this game.
Kind of hard.

My 5 year old son likes this game, but it took him several tries to get the hang of how to control it. A few parts are very difficult to beat, and the kid needs to be able to read, or have an adult read some parts.
Some parts are funny, and it's fun to be able to change your character and mode of transportation (walking, skates, or skateboard) at any time.
More than just a cartoon cash-in. It's a good game!

As someone who is 31 years old and has only seen one episode of "Rocket Power", I can safely say that I am not the demographic the makers of this game were aiming for. I love it anyway!
First off, I would like to admit that my favorite type of game is a platformer. I enjoy going on adventures and completing missions. The only problem is that they tend to get tedious after a while. I was hoping that this game would be similar to that style but with a fresh spin on it. It didn't disappoint!
Parts of this game are like "Tony Hawk Pro Skater" for kids. You have to do tricks to earn points and sometimes you have to grind objects in order to collect items that you need. It's not as complex as Tony Hawk and my friend's 7 year old was able to pick it up rather easily.
There are also racing levels where you are riding on a hoverboard, rollerblades or a jet ski. Sometimes you have to collect tokens in order to play games in the Boardwalk area. There is plenty of variety in "Beach Bandits" and I love any game which can be enjoyed by a whole family. This is one of those games.
A few parts of the game might be too difficult for little kids so it would really help if they had an adult around to help them through the tougher areas. I beat the game in 12-14 hours but of course, that will vary a lot depending on the gamer. This title also features several different multiplayer games for you to enjoy with your friends. A recommended buy!

THQ's Rocket Power Beach Bandits is a very neat game. I love how they used voices to tell the story and that they used the original voices from the show. I also love the 2 player mode on the halfpipe. It is very easy to control, unlike the Tony Hawk games. There is just one problem, you can go into Passwords and they give you about 6 questions and then you unlock the whole game. The questions can be answered by anyone who has seen a few episodes of Rocket Power. This is a well put together game that any Nick fan would love.
LAME!!!

when I bought this game, I thought this would be cool, and it was! I liked that you could change to skates or a skateboard. The graphics was great too! But the fifty challenges in the game were to easy and I defeated it in four days!! But this game is alright...
