Best one in the Series

This is a really great game. Though begining the game can take a while explaining the story, it's worth the wait. In Free Roam mode, you can interact with the environment like you couldn't in the other games in the Need For Speed series. You can knock over street lamps, see the damage on street cars as you crash into them, and slam into lumber trucks and watch the logs roll of into the street. You can even drive underneath the trucks. In the beginning the police purstuits are rather basic, but gradually increase in intensity, involving road blocks, spike strips, even SUVs the smash into your car and blocking your way. There is a greater variety of races now including tollbooth and speedtrap. The only real downside that I found was that the instuctions that came with the game didnt explain all too much, but luckily it shouldn't take too long to learn the ins and outs of the game. Im really pleased with the latest in the series. Have fun and don't get caught by the police ;-)

This game is amazing. The graphics are mindblowing, sound is great, and the overall game is awesome. This game is a mixture of Underground and Hot Pursuit. The cops make this game a blast, although they're a real hassle, but t's fun. You now interact more with the environment by going under trucks, breaking objects, and more. There is o much to talk about. Any gamer should get this.

I have to say this game is absolutely amazing coming from the Need for Speed series. It is a lot more challenging than Underground and although it does not allow you to customize your vehicles as much as Underground did, it focuses on the racing where it should.

The police chases adda great challenge to this game making it very fun although you cannot save your game at times until you outrun the police after a race which can be annoying if you don't outrun the police.

The only downside to this game is that the BMW you get can only be raced twice in the game. Outside of that it is a great game.

Need for speed serie have a lot of games but yet, this one is the best! One thing thats different from the undergrounds is that the police is there ,making great poursuit unlike the undergrouds they lacked a bit because they didn t have the police. The cars are better loking than before ,the upgrades are about the same with exeptions but a coll adition is the blacklist where you have to defeat every 15 riders in order to be the most wanted and have all the rides. You get a new car when you beat a blacklist member. The town is way better because its day and the roads are easier to get to places wich in undergrouds was a bit hard to do.The car selection is good as always with 30 and more cars. There is two player as always ,the game is a vast improvement over the underground series like police, chases and the blacklist i had lot of fun with this game but i only did 15% after about 3 hours wich makes the game long, very much improved the best need for speed out there. If you want to buy it go ahead ,great game in my opinion just with the police and the-easier-to-travel towns maked this game one of the best of 05`beating pretty much every racing games out now with few exeptions as burnout.Nothing wrong here just great!

one problem with the gamecube is its lack of racing games i mean mario kart dosent seem as cool as gran tourismo or forza motosports so i was thrilled to see this game on this system the graphics are MUCH better than the ps2 so i HIGHLY reccomend this game.

p.s. sorry about the spelling mistakes. HEH HEH HRH

This is another successful installment in the Need for Speed franchise. You play a racer newly arrived in Rockport City, who loses his ride in a fixed race. To get revenge, you'll have to gain street cred and work your way up the blacklist, the 15 toughest racers in the city.

A good racing game needs solid controls and a steady framerate, and there's plenty of both in Most Wanted. Cars are varied and handle well, and the graphics maintain a high visual standard even when your car's at its top speed. You'll face numerous types of races in career mode, including the standard circuit, drag races, checkpoints, and sprints. The fun is in building street cred, which requires you to tangle with the fuzz and generally go crazy on the road (remember kids, drive safe in real life!). All of this is laid out on an open-ended city, the new standard for racing games. Adding to the polish is a fully licensed sountrack, and several videos with live actors that propel the story along (Josie Maran!!)

Most Wanted is definitely one of the top street racing games I've played, though it's hard to say if its the best. For example, the underrated Street Racing Syndicate takes into account real car damage when you race, forcing you to pony up for repairs if you drive recklessly. In contrast, Most Wanted magically restores your car to perfection after each race. It really depends on your preference, and how much realism you want (paying for car repairs, like in real life, is a pain). Street Racing Syndicate also features a more intricate upgrade system where each part affects individual cars differently, while Most Wanted sticks to the standard unlockables after every 'boss'. Both systems are fun, but definitely different.

If you enjoy fast cars but don't have the money to race em for real, Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a great way to get your thrill fix.
