It's one of the best game that exist for the gamecube, if you buy it you'll love it coz it has a lot of fun, great graphics and the best are the jutsu, i like almost all the jutsu of the game, it is like you are into the naruto anime, i recommend you to buy this game

If you like Naruto, this is the game for you! It has all your favorite characters from the show including Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and more. I really enjoyed the game and couldn't put it down. The game play is similar to that of the Dragon ball Z Budokai series, it is a traditonal fighter with no special twists (the first person to knock out all of your opponent's health gauge out wins, a chakra gauge fills up to use your special techniques.)

Overall:

Characters: 3/5 Characters are pretty balanced aside from some hidden unlockable characters

Game play: 4/5 Pretty well done, but it doesn't offer anything that any other fighter doesn't

Lasting appeal: 2/5 The game is rather short, I beat the game in about 2 months

Overall:3 1/2

This is more of a collectors item for fans than a master peice game.

Many people are fans of the anime show Naruto, but this game is a let down to the television show. The graphics aren't that bad, though. It gives the look and feel of the anime. If only it can give the length of the anime, also. The sound is okay, but the characters end up repeating the same lines every time and it gets irritating. It's overall value isn't long. It contains half the modes a standard fighter has and nothing new. The story mode is short. The gameplay is good and filled with action, it's just that you will be sitting down playing the same short and lacking modes. Did I mention there were only 10 characters?

To sum it up, if you are a die hard fan you will get this, but you will have a bitter taste in your mouth playing it.

Pros: Nice cel shaded anime look and feel ; Good gameplay

Cons : Shortage of modes and characters ; story is very short.

Naruto Clash of the Ninja

I bought this game for my thirteen year old son and he has beat it already. He loved the game and wanted Clash of the Ninja2 which I also bought him. Great game and give it 5 stars.

Great fighter but get Naruto 2 instead

Naruto Clash of Ninja is the first game. It has a simple story mode and a small roster of playable characters (about 10) for real value of the game which is the multiplayer.

Naruto 2 Clash of Ninja is the second game. It starts with the same story as what the first game had but continues much further beyond. Also the voice acting, graphics, dialog, presentation, menus, etc are all improved from the first game. The gameplay is mostly the same but more refined and lots of game modes are added including 4-player multiplayer. The roster of playable characters is also increased to over 20 and the additional fighters provide a lot more diversity to the fighting game.

Basically Naruto 2 has everything the first game has including the first ones story and all playable characters from the first as well as tons of new stuff so if your considering getting this game... than do yourself a favor and get the second one.

I am not saying this first game is bad... it is just obsolete after the release of the second one.

I borrowed this game from my friend, and I thought it was awesome. The sound was good, the graphics were good, and the game itself was fun. But then I heard that Clash Of Ninja 2 was coming out, and now I cannot wait for it. Compared to the 2nd game coming out and games 3-4 in japan, this game is rubbish. But its a good start for a person starting to watch Naruto. I would suggest renting this game and renewing it if possible until the 2nd game comes out (2 days from now).

I like this game. I got it when I first got my Gamecube. I unlocked Rock Lee the following day and Kyubi Naruto and Sharingan Kakashi. It has 10 playable characters:

Story mode is short but has great dialouge. I like Academy Schoolyard music. Basically, I've unlocked everything you van possibly get in the game except all the art pieces. Overall this is a good game.

I suggest you rent it first before buying it.

Naruto:Clash of Ninja is one of the best Naruto games ever if not the best. It is a fun game for those all-time Naruto fans or just those who want to play a cool and fun game.The game follows the story line from the begining when Naruto joins the acdemy to the fight with Zabuza and Haku on the Land of Waves' bridge. There are many secrets,secret charecters,and extras that will keep you playing for hours.Overall this is a truly awesome game. I would give it 10 stars for each category if I could.

Naruto Clash of Ninja was not the best game I ever played but fun since I'm a fan of the english version. In the game, you could play story mode which you can only play as Naruto and the whole story is screwed up. Or you can play one player mode with every character you unlock. It seems that you can only unlock Rock Lee, BUT you can unlock Kubi Naruto(nine-tailed fox Naruto) by beating one player mode twice with every character including Rock Lee and then unlock Sharingon Kakashi by doing one player mode with Kakashi right after getting Kubi Naruto.
This makes the game A LOT more fun to play once beat.
