I am a 16 year old video gamer from St.Croix U.S. Virgin Islands. I currently own a GameCube. When I first played Mario Kart Double Dash, I was enthusiastic. This version was even better than the two previous ones. I liked Mario Kart Super Circuit for both the Super Nintendo and Gameboy Advance, as well as Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo 64. So you know if I enjoyed those so much, I must like this version 10 times greater!!!
Get this game if you're smart. It's worth the cost. You won't be disappointed.

This game is way better than the older one(s)! Everyone sais that the "Double Dash" part has no meaning. Well, in multi-player co-op mode(lots of fun, also great for learning controlls), If both players press A at the same time, they'll get an incredible turbo boost! Obveously, the battle levels are small, but they had take out something to add another cup, INCREADIBLE graphics, more sounds, more detailed battle arenas, twice the characters, 9 new attacks, special moves, longer, more thought-out courses, AND two more kinds of battles. Actually, i'd give this game a 4.9! You people who say that no one would use LAN mode have never tried it! You could ONLY have the heart to say that stuff because you either have never heard of kindness and respect or you buy Nintendo games to complain aboute things! Although I have to agree with every 1 out of twenty compaints about Mario party 5. Or possibly every 50 about Super Mario Sunshine, but THAT'S IT!!!

This game is really good but the battle game stages suck. In Mariokart64 the battle stages are 10times better then the ones on Double Dash!! but the over all race tracks are better. I would suggest buying "MARIO KART:DOUBLE DASH!!" and buying "MARIO KART 64".

I cannot submit a review since the seller sent the wrong game. Although I returned wrong game in plenty of time for ordered game to be put under Christmas tree, it did not happen. Took quite a few emails to get refund and wasn't refunded the return postage as promised. This caused me to order books from overstock.com rather than Amazon.com for birthday present.

I bought this game for my daughter and was surprised by how fun it is. I play the game almost as much as she does and we have a blast playing it together. I recommend this game!

I love Mario Kart double dash a lot, even though it is now considered an "old" (3 years) game. Great for parties, as are all Mario Games, and very competitive.

The graphics in Mario are the best for any video game. It is so fun unlocking characters and courses. My favorite thing in the game is the grang prix. It is the best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario Kart Double Dash is a great editon to the Mario Kart series. What makes this game so unique is that there are two drivers per kart. The one in front is the driver and the one in the back uses the items. You can also choose any combo of characters you want. There are tons of great tracks, like one of the most famous ones, Star Road. There are also many items, like the green shell, the banana peel, and the fake item blocks. Multiplayer is also great with awesome battle arenas. Any fan of Mario Kart will definitly love this game.

One of the best games $30 can buy.
Race yourself to set the fastest time on 12 different tracks in Time Trial mode. Challenge your friend to a race on your favorite track, or battle each other in 3 modes of play on 4 cool tracks. Choose two of your favorite Mario characters; there are 16 to pick from. Pick your car and race to victory. Race from solo to 8 players (you can play with 5-8 players if game system is linked to other systems). Plus pick up items to slow your opponents. This game is awesome to play with family and friends. It is also very easy to learn. Rated E, it is suitable for every one.
