This game really stinks! Becouse the graphics are horrible, the characters look rediculous, and every character in the game looks chubby. Spend your money on a better game!

This game has been very frustating to my 5 year old.It was purchased from Amazon.com for his birthday. He is able to save the first level but it will not load.If he loses the first second level he has to start over.

I got this game for my little sister (she is 7), if you look at the game's target audience it is kids under 10. So I watch my little sister sturggle throuh level 1. She becomes frustrated and ends up throwing my controller. Latter that night I tried to play it and I realized the game was too hard for a teenager.
I was steemed. My little sister is suprisingly good at videogames she can beat a level 7 in SSBM (which is rated teen.) In conclusion I think not only shoud ESRB have a content rating but also a toughness rating.
"DON'T BUY THIS GAME!"

As Bad as the movie

Have you ever heard that most games based on movies are not good? Well, this game helps the cuase. However, I have another theory why the game is so awfully boring. Becasue the movie was boring! I like the tv show, but the movie stunk, so the game did too. It had no action, the graphics were bad, and the fun level was quite below average, there were a few fun parts, but overall, the game was boring. So, if you're looking for a fun Jimmy Neutron game, try Jimmy Neutron Jet Fusion, or Jimmy Neutron attack of the Twonkies, anything but this.

I bought this for my 9 and5 yr olds and they love the premise
BUT the platforms to jump on are VERY hard to hit and you cannot save until you get thru the entire first level which is TOO much game time for kids!!! They didn't want to return it because the Midway games are fun but it was just frustrating and SINCE YOU HAVE TO START OVER AGAIN EVERY TIME, we bagged it for something else!!!

A toss up...

While it was remarkable that the makers of this game assembled almost all of the voice actors from the movie (and got someone to do a not half-bad Patrick Stewart impersonation for King Goobot), and while the entire game featured some of the most beautifully rendered landscapes imaginable, Jimmy Neutron for the Gamecube lacks the atmosphere and level-to-level flow that would make it a truly great game. Some of the levels were unbelievably fun and heart-pounding--imagine riding a skateboard version of Goddard the mechanical dog down a spiraling glass ramp, making unbelievable jumps and dodging obstacles at incredibly high speeds--but other parts of the game were little more than annoying, the game designers expecting you to repeat the same tedious jumps to ill-defined platforms over and over, one of which, due to programming errors, disappeared and dropped me to my death for no reason. The camera angles were a constant source of frustration, often causing me to miss the obvious simply because it was in the other direction; Jimmy Neutron might have benefitted from a Zelda-like Z-targeting system to shift the view around. And while the objectives in this game were always new and unique (throwing dead alien bugs at a giant worm, destroying an energy core with radioactive rocks, busting Cindy Vortex out of an alien prison, jumping across giant spinning cogwheels to save Jimmy's parents, tricking a giant chicken to smash the bad guys for you), the player is often unsure of what he needs to do next to proceed. The game's sound effects were nothing worth mentioning; aside from the insults the Yolkians shout at you, the weapons Jimmy uses hardly make any sound at all, and the music tends to be listless synth-heavy midi that loops every couple minutes. Aside from the gripes I've mentioned, and though maaaybe the game seemed like it was rushed to the stores in time for Christmas '02, THQ did a commendable job of showing off what the Gamecube can do with "Jimmy Neutron". But I hope next time THQ and Nickelodeon can get Rob Paulsen to do Carl Wheezer's voice...
