I'm More ED-cited !!!

This is a really nice game no matter which system you get it for; especially if you're a huge fan of the show like me. First off, this features impressive gameplay with awesome 3-D graphics. Heck, they've still got the squiggly outlines right; even in 3-D form ! Next, there are some great special features with no needed codes like a feature with the cast members who do the voices of the Eds and the Plank music video ! You can garner these cool extras by finding chickens in each level.

Now in this game, you play all three Eds in their neverending hijinks for jawbreakers. In fact, you can find jawbreakers if look real hard in each level. There's even a jawbreaker dispenser somewhere in the game, but you got to have a certain amount of cash on hand to get them. Playing all three of the Ed characters can be tough, but quite fun in a way. As Ed(the one with the eyebrow), you can pick up objects and throw them and using the "Batter-Ed" move to smash through walls and stuff. As Edd(the one with the hat), you can use his slingshot to his distant objects to make them fall, use his wit to activate machines, and use the "Trampol-Edd" move to go a little higher. As Eddy(take a guess), use the "El Mongo Stink Bomb" to stun your opponents and use "The Tower of Eddy" move to walk across thin walkways, sneak around, and grab high items within reach.

You can even interact with the other characters from the show, but watch out for those squirrels ! There are a couple of bonus levels that seem reminicent of the Eds' Halloween special as well as those special features I aforementioned.

Overall, this is game, though fairly short in full play, is a very nice one. Cartoon Network may not have much in video games (i.e. Dexter: "Mandark's Lab" for PS1, Powerpuff Girls: "Chemical X-traction" for N64 and PS1, and Cartoon Network: "Speedway" and "Block Party" for GBA), but they seem to have caught up now with this and a new Kids Next Door game. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. And one more thing: they have seem to released this game just in time for the new ED-isodes on TV ! I'm starting to like those, as well.

This game is very funny. Unlock all the levels. Buy it anywhere you can. At first it was hard but then it got easier. If you are lucky you can unlock the bonus levels.

A review of Ed, Edd, & Eddy's Mis-Ed-ventures

We really like the television show, "Ed, Edd, & Eddy," and so we purchased this game.

This game has basically the same plot most of the Ed, Edd, & Eddy episodes have: The Eds have to scam the children of the cul-de-sac to buy as many jawbreakers as they can. However, they have to use 3 characters on one team, each having different moves.

However, this game is just a little too short. There are only 6 levels in the game, but then again, what do you expect from the cul-de-sac? Also, Enemies keep attacking us so it's harder for us to get the goal when the Eds' health decreases and you get "DORKS!" all over the screen. We also tried using the tips in the end of the instruction manual and they are only semi-helpful.

Before we purchased this, we got Sonic Heroes for Christmas. Sonic Heroes is similar to Ed, Edd, & Eddy's Mis-Ed-ventures, due to the three-characters-on-one-team rule, but there are more teams to choose from, and the characters have different moves, including the team blast ability, so enemies won't keep attacking us. Also, the game is longer and each team has a different focus.

Overall, 3.5 stars. Nice concept, but generally too challenging for us, and nothing that brings us back for more. We prefer Sonic Heroes over this game. Still, if you are interested, you might consider renting it first.

They Love It!

My boys really wanted this game, but after reading the reviews here, I tried to talk them out of it, but they LOVE the show so really wanted to get the game. We bought it here and they LOVE the game! My boys are 8,9 & 10, and really enjoy games that are fun and silly. The only real bummer is that it is only a 1 player game- it would be perfect if it were a multi-player.

A good solid game, very fun!

I will admit, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I can't handle really hard games. This game is somewhat easier, and allows some exploring. The puzzles are pretty appropriate to the cartoon. [..], same as the general concept of many of the cartoon shorts. You control the 3 Eds together, selecting each Ed as appropriate. All 3 Eds have their unique moves, attacks, and a special combo that utilizes the Eds as a group.

The sounds are perfect. The voices are all the same from the cartoon, the sound effects are all there, and the music is great to listen to. The 3D models of the Eds are a little rough, but easy to work with. They could have made the characters a little more expressive, especially in the cut-scenes, but the overall quality of the game is really good. It's a fun game for kids and those that are kids at heart. The gameplay is very responsive, but the controls can be a little confusing. I'd suggest wandering the cul-de-sac for awhile, trying the different modes until you get the hang of what button does what. What's interesting about this game is that you don't have a health meter, you have a coolness meter. If you run out of coolness, you start again from a little ways back, you essentially have infinite "lives".

Saw the game was coming out and surprised my son with it. He figured out most of the missions in one or two evenings, but some of the sillier stuff (Batter Ed) bring him back to play again. Plus, we haven't found EVERY little thing. That's the challenge now. For me, it's frustrating and boring, yes. I was very disappointed, and without the "guide" in the instruction booklet, I'm pretty sure we would have had trouble. Graphics? Ugh. Logic? Anything for a gumball! As Eddy would put it, "We're just messin' around." There is a place in my heart for Ed, though, and his "Dig a hole, dig a hole..." For the most part, I say save the dough and look elsewhere. Sorry Ed Boys.

Correctly titled the mis-edventures, they really missed on this one

Poor graphics, the Eds look really ill. Totally boring, no plotline, only 3 or 4 characters actually talk, and then won't shut up once they do. Missions are close to impossible to beat, to much interference. Don't waste your money buying this, rent it.
