"I like this game, it's cool", that's what my son said about the game he's 14 and a gamer.

I rented this game first. I did not know what to think. It was good, but not good. The story mode is kind of cheesy and the battles keep going and going. But, it does give you the opportunity to learn the weapons and get some experience in the holloseums. I found the game later brand new for $14.99 at Wal-Mart. I quickly snagged copy and have been going at it ever since. Once you get through the story mode, it gets even better. You can dish it out with your friends in the multiplayer with up to 4 players at once in the holloseum. The arcade mode is old school. If you like the Armored Core Series, then get this. It is actually better in my opinion and easier. I can't wait to play Custom Robo Arena on the DS!

This game is so much fun. I already passed it though. It did not take me very long to finish this game, but it still has great fighting modes for when you finish story mode. I have heard that people are having a hard time fighting with tiny robots,but when you finish story mode you unlock first person view. Thier is a Custom Robo 2, but unfortanally it is only avalalable in Japan. They are making a new Custom Robo for the DS that will be avalalble in America.

This game is fun to play in one player, but it could be more developed, it's too linear. But, the multiplayer is a must. It's highly chaotic and fun.

This is game is very cool, you can play the story mode, versus mode, etc. and unlock the super sweet illegal weapons on part 2 of story mode. It's kinda sad that so many people said this game was crappy, it really is not. people who play the game armored core should get this, it has the same customizing feature as armored core.

Loved this game so much it has great graphics and is very addicting to play! the sound effect were awesome i liked that you could choose from so many parts so u could make your own robo the storyline is a little hard to follow but trust me onece u get tis game u will be hooked!i'm looking forward to a sequel

This game is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo Flipin' Cool it's like awsome! you can blow the livin' Crud out of your opponent or he/she will blow the Living Crud out of you, crud huh? in chapter 2 in story mode you can get some sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet kick but weapons like "Wyrm" THAT WEAPON IS FLIPIN' UNBEATABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhh yeah, you also can play Versus Mode 50 times to unlock the Dark Star Holosseum SOOOOOOOO DON"T GIVE A CRUD WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK! THIS IS THE TRUTH I TELL, I"VE BEAT LEVEL 1 IN STORY MODE AND I AM ALMOST DONE WITH LEVEL 2!!! get this!!!!!!!!!! TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first saw the description and the reviews of this game, it sounded awesome. But, being the cautious type, I first rented it. It is pretty monotonous in the fact you get up every morning and the landlady yells at you to go to work. then you go there and get an assingment.After every battle you're in, you get a new part, but you never get those "illegal" parts you heard were so awesome. Once you beat Rahu, there is Not much to do.
This is not a challenging game; and, in my opinion, is not worth $40 for a game that takes you 6 hrs. to beat. If you want a nice, easy game for one weekend, this is your game to RENT. If you want a challenging game, get something else.

What a shame...

...that this game is so underrated. I hear video game reviewers all over the net saying "ZOMG!!1!!1eleventy-one!!11!1one!!11 tihs g4me is t3h suxx0rz!11!1onelol!!11 Its n4wt turn-b4s3d RPG!!11!onleol!!111". Oh shut up. Just because you're being paid to sabotage a great game's reputation is no excuse to not spread some good detail on this game. 1) The graphics are great, 2) The battles are challenging and require you to think before firing, 3) The story has enough comedy (thanks to Harry, of course), drama, action and thrills to keep even ME entertained; and that's saying a lot, 4) I know, the little beeping noises made by the characters sound...odd...but that's what you get with a such a great game. I find it sad that everyone these days wants turn-based RPGs. Please, that genre got old with FFVIII and you're just angry that Nintendo decided to think outside the box and create a perfectly great game that would leave turn-based RPGs in the dust.

So, QUIT trying to make an impression and just accept the fact that this game is much better than FFVXM or whatever the hell you want to call them. And that, my friends, is the end of discussion. Period. I have nothing more to say other than this: Don't listen to those hypocritical video game critics who stuff their pockets with greenbacks for blamming a game. Think outside the box and go with Nintendo. It's the ONLY way to go.
