The movie was so clever I really expected the game to be lots of fun and very engaging. It really hasn't held my 7 y o and 4 y o's attention like I had hoped, which is saying a lot since they only get to game once a week! The racing isn't as good as Mario racing, the games and objectives are a bit confusing and not as challenging as they could be.

My nephew was really looking forward to getting the game for his ninth birthday. He played it for an hour or so and had a lot of fun with it before the game locked up and had to be reset so he could continue.

Unfortunately, this trend continued and the game continued to freeze every half-hour or so, and in different places under different circumstances. We returned it, thinking perhaps the disc was defective, but the replacement was exactly the same.

While the game was relatively easy and he enjoyed playing as the familiar movie characters, the presence of multiple bugs made playing it an exercise in frustration. It is not an item either of us would recommend purchasing.

Great game for Gamecube or PC

I bought this (second hand) for my son who is 5. He's been playing it for about 2 weeks now. His best friend, also 5, loves it as well. They go head to head and haven't been bored with it yet. Super Smash Brothers Melee has even been set aside for this game. We use 3 codes we got from the internet to add to the game. Last Christmas my son got the PC version of this, which he still plays, even after a year, but really seems to prefer the gamecube version of Cars. It's worth the money I paid (again second hand). If given the choice I would buy it again. I think sometimes it's a bit hard to understand the cars when they're talking in drive mode, but this doesn't my son at all.

There's so many things you can do! Well maybe is horrible for you people with little kids, but it's not a game for them! You have to know what to do. But i like it because for one thing it's a countinuing story of the movie. I also like how you can buy different paintjobs for the cars. It's pretty cool.

We bought this as a gift for our son, who wanted it very badly. It is a fun game, and cute. Our son is happy with it, so that is all that really matters.

My Godson loves the game he plays it all the time, it was the thing he wanted most for Christmas, he was so excited!

the game was appropriate and he has alot of fun playing the game. There was no problems with the disc and it arrived on time.

After watching the movie, I expected a lot more out of this game. I was expecting more intense speed races, it looks as if you are only driving 40 mph rather than 110mph! The multiplayer mode was OK. If the races had graphics to make it look like you're actually racing instead of taking a stroll through the city. Although I will say the game captured main parts from the movie, down to the paved road. Overall it was OK, and I personally suggest renting it instead of buying it.

Christmas nightmare

Hi, I'm VERY desapointed since you ship my order on November 18,2006 and still I haven't receiced it yet!! This suppose to be my little kid present for Christmas and since I never got it a ran to the store the night before to buy him something else. I can rate the game sincve I don't have the game.

I bought it for my 6 year old son and he loves it! I wouldnt recommend it for anyone older than about 7 or 8 though, I dont think it would be challanging enough.
