This game was the best game. The Nazies are pretty challenging. The level that is one of my favorites is when you are trying to take back the Red Square. THe sounds and graphics are great. The guns are great and my favorite is PPSH or the MG42 I dont know, but they are both great.The best part of the game is when you are Soviet and you are in a tank. I highly recomened this game.

A jarring, but good console version of the PC smash.

When I first started this game, it took me a little by surprise, not because of the title music(even though it IS not very Call of Duty-ish), but the sights and sounds. Unlike the original, the Red Army dudes in your ride to the pile of bricks and fire, Stalingrad, are sitting in a shrimpy little rowboat instead of the motorboat in CoD. But after you get off your shrimp-boat, it's very similar to CoD. You get paired up with a sergeant again, and those mean little Commissar jerks are back, with their TT33 pistol loaded for traitors. This is about the only in-game pistol you will see that actually fires. There is a loading screen 45. and a revolver, but no sidearms. The charge is a lot like the first one, with poor guys getting mowed down by the Wehrmacht MG42's facing them. There is some hilarious moments in this, though. Once there was a bug that had an artillery shell blast some poor Russian into the city.
Contrary to many people's reviews, this is a very good game. some people complain about the smudgy and blotched graphics. Well, why don't you go and charge up a riverbank with dirt getting thrown around? The missions are based around the Soviets in Stalingrad and Takushya airfield, British PPA commandoes in Africa, (much better than the sabotage missions in CoD), and then the Big Red 1 in the USA capture of Aachen, then a short detour to the all-black 761st Black Panthers tank battalion in the Battle of the Buldge. The big finale, well you'll have to find out. The variety of characters is huge. There's female sniper Tanya Pavlovna, who's bent on revenge on the Germans for her home and family, ACDC singer-voiced nice guy Edward Carlyle, and grizzled vetrean Chuck Walker, who was in North Africa, Sicily, and D-Day. That is just three of 6 characters, who have also givin a LOT more personality. I hate the "Your character doesn't have a body and can't speak" thing.
The sound is great. The voice-overs are well done (except for "MY BOOTS ARE LEAKING" Benny Church). The music is unforgettable, it will seriously throw "Oops I Did it Again" out of your mind. Very well done choir and orchestra with the composer who does MoH and The Incredibles. The weapon sounds are very satisfying. Among the best are the Lee-Enfield and "Oh wait I need to hear that again" MG42. Very good game bashed because it's so different.

So im a WWII fanatic, i have 5 medal of honors, they were pretty good, i liked them. The graphics could use a lot of help, and its not realistic.
So for Chrismas i get Call of Duty: Finest Hour for G-cube, The first level i played, u r in Stalingrad, u r a Russian soldier (a first for WWII games, it was cool) with authentic russian weapons. The begining of this level, i got goose bumps ALL OVER!! I was in awe! It is a very realistic game compared to Medal of Honor (wich was realy fun) and im sure there will be much better games than this(the new game Brothers in arms looks promising)but it was still a REMARCABLE STEP from medal of honor and the other WWII games. In this game, you get to play as many people, you start out as a Russian, play 2 levels as this one guy then 2 levels as someone else, and so on. Until u become a British solder, then you go through the same prosses until ur American, then thats it.
They do have some cool anima. reels, and making of bonuses for when u beat campeign mode.
Over all, the sound is great, with realistic weapon sounds, and good music. The graphics are a big leap compared to medal of honor,and other ww2 games.
Gameplay is good, lots of weapons including German, Russian, British and American wepeons at ur disposal.

I would have liked for the game to have smarter A.I., your comrades are pretty dumb, they arent to good to rely on, but its easy enough to do it alone, and hard enough that its enjoyable.The game could have had a better ending but it was still good. There could have been a multi player, that was a downside, i thought it would be great 4 player with your friends kind of game, but the 1 player campeign makes up for that. There isnt too much else that needs improvement, its a great all around game.

Best game eva! it has the best graphics and sound. IT IS SOOO GOOD IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE IN A MOVIE! If you like 1st person shooter or war game you have to get it! This is a MUST buy everyone who has a system should get this game! actually I dont hve this game but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night and saw the commercial for this game there! Its gunna be great!

Call of duty:Finest hour is an excellent game that I played 2 times. The little movies shown before each battle front are so amazing you wouldn't want to miss them. The battle scenes are awesome and the music ties in so well that youd think thats what the actual battles sounded like! With great gamelay,huge array of weaponry(tanks included), good music, and in-depth stories for every character you play as. This game gets 5 stars easily.

Usually Im not into war games, but I was Wrong!!! Call of Duty is one of the best war games ever!!!! Is like actually being there. This Games is worth every dollar!!!

This game is very fun. It keeps me entertained all the time. The graphics are very good. The story mode is good too. The only thing I don't like about it is there is not enough save points in the level. Because when I'm really far in a level and I die I get so pissed off. That is such pain in the ass. Other than that I would reccomend this game to every one who loves war games.

i know, a girl who plays war games, yeah right! well, guess what, its true. i have not played this game yet but i think it looks awesome. i have heard it gives education on world warII.
i hope to get this game soon and then i will write another review of what i, personally, think of the game.
