An average game; not as good as FREEKSTYLE or MX SUPERFLY.

Overall, Big Air Freestlye is an okay game with better products on the market. As the title says, the game focuses on freestyle tricks. The controls are okay, but not the best either. The freestyle portions are better than MX SUPERFLY'S, but the lack of any racing modes destroy the replay value. The game's freestyle segments, although interesting, can't hold a candle to FREEKSTYLE'S, Gamecube's best supercross game. There are only 30 tricks, but no way to modify them. This game is okay, just not phenomenal. Only worth buying if you want a motocross game that plays like TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER.
it is awesome

this is a great gme. it has insane tricks like supermanseat graband cliff hangers. the game has bukets that blow up when you hit them. the tricks that you cn do are not very ralistic like a triple back flip cliff hanger but it is really fun. on the frestyle mode you can try to beat you max score every time and it is very hard. my max score is 9200 see if you can do better. the game has very goodgraphics like on racing at the ed of the coars your rider is exremely muddy.
A Total Surprise

We some reason see numerous motocross games each year being released some live upto the hype others fail. Big Air Freestyle is one of those games that you either like or dislike. I own Freekstyle, MX Superfly, and Big Air Freestyle with each one having a certain feature that beats teh other.
Freekstyle
EA Big always has great setup games and Freekstyle doesn't let us down. It has great graphics, awsome frps and the best setup in tricks. Freekstyle has a long hard career mode wich challenges you to the edge. It delivers awsome stunts and sweet levels that explode with fireworks and other booming things. Freekstyle beats MX Superfly and Big Air Freestyle in tricks but graphics and sound are equal.
MX Superfly
Yes great graphics, yes great frps, yes great sound, yes great tricks and yes the most realistic of the three if all motorcross games. It feels like you are really there racing with the other opponents. Everything is great with this game and the realism is the best out of the three.
Big Air Freestyle
This is the game I am writing the review for which lives upto the hype. When I first started playing the game I was like I am going to get wasted and have problems doing tricks and all that other great stuff. Well I started out and realized at how great the camera angles are. I mean there's tons and they're all cool looking. The graphics are sweet with not one slow frame rate per second and after hitting mud and puddles you and your bike will get covered with mud. Level designs are very well done with lots of turns and jumps. The speed is fast but the controls are faster not giving you one problem at all. I placed 2nd my first time then after me my friends placed 1st each there first time. You can handle the bike like it's first nature, and catching upto the opponents is a breeze. The game has so, so many features with a challenge mode, race mode, multiplayer, and so much more. It even comes with a nice little demo of Godzilla wich is great also. The only thing if anything really that bad is sometimes pulling of tricks is hard but nothing like what alot of people say. I read the reviews for this game and I would give it in the higher eights in the end. Try this out you wont regret it.
Great game

I like this game very much. Its really fun, great control. there are many freestyle and racing levles to choose from. every level is loaded tons of hazards, jumps and obstacles and there is a giant ramp on each freestyle that starts you on a incline that gives you plenty of speed for sick air for amazing stunts (and bails). the music is cool too. If you are looking for the perfect motocross game, This is the perfect choice.
ehh....

At first Big Air Freestyle looks like your average action-sports game, with average looking arenas, average tricks and an average selection of riders and motorbikes. but deeper inspection reveals an unsettiling reality: Its also somewhat broken and not much fun. The racing mode in competent but dull. Players work their way through the season, racing on long, winding tracks in inviroments that give you no visual sence of where you are; were it not for brazilian flag, you'd really have no clue that you were riding in Sao Paulo. But shouldn't a game called Big Air Freestyle take off, literally and figuratively, in its trick mode? Not with such a limited system. There just aren't very many tricks to do, and too often you'll find yourself resorting to the same high-scorers, adding on an endless loop od boring barrel rolls and back flips. Plus Scoring is incosistent; sometimes you'll earn zero points for tricks that have clearly registered on screen. Unlocking new tracks is tedious chore- and even then, the tracks all look too similar. at least they got the soundtracks right.
