This game, as has been preveously stated is the american translation of Zoids Saga. This game is amazing, with its turnbased system and special "commands". You play as a young prince named Atory, and you embark on a journey to save your kingdom (which is under attack) By ressurecting the Trinity Liger. The game is full of timetravel, and it intersects with Zoids Chaotic century, and Zoids Zero century. In this game you CANNOT play as Bit, Van, Raven, etc. But you can have them in your party as you progress through the game. Before I spoil anymore, I shall say Farewell.

If this is anything like the game zoid saga from Japan it will be awsome. You go backand forth in time looking form the eternity liger wich is the strongest zoid in the game. you get to customize you zoids with weapons and upgrades, the posibilitys are endless. I recommend this game to anyone who likes mech games and RPG's.

As a zoid fan i have played this game....well, zois saga i mean. From what i here it will be exatly like Zoids Saga. You are a prince called atory or something like that and your kingdom is attacked and the stoy pretty much unfolds there. If this game is a translation of Zoids Saga, YOU WILL NOT BE VAN OR RAVEN but trust me, killing them is much fun.

At the outer reaches of the universe, the human inhabitants on the Planet Zi remain locked in combat. The population, divided between good and evil, uses gargantuan robots called Zoids to battle each other for control of the planet.

Features

* Collaborate with more than 70 characters to save the world

In Zoids: Legacy, a new hero, Zel, emerges to lead a dangerous rescue mission. Only by teaming up with Bit, Van, Athle and others and fully utilizing the power of the Zoids can his plan succeed and their world return to normal.

Along Zel's journey, numerous characters who will join him on his quest. Once they join, you'll be able to lead their Zoids into battle as well as yours.

You pick up weapons and other supplies in treasure boxes around towns. You can also purchase and sell Zoids parts. At the Zoids Institute, you can repair or customize your Zoids, for a price, of course.

When your Zoids engage in battle, you first decide if you need to edit your Deck-Command list. You can give a Deck-Command at the beginning of each of your turns. These commands range from recovering your health to gathering data or extra gold. You learn some of these commands by talking to people in the towns you visit.

At the beginning of each turn in battle, you either issue a combat order, wait, or give commands. If you issue a combat order, the first Zoids appear on-screen with their different weapons highlighted. Each weapon has a different attack strength and hit rate. You can choose which weapon that's right for the battle situation. Waiting will give you better defense and help you recover.

Bottom Line:

Zoids: Legacy does a decent job of converting the fighting robot franchise into an RPG. Its pacing is a bit slow at times, though.

Zoids: Legacy for GBA

Incase yall don't recognize me, I am a Zoids freak. I don't know a lot about Zoids Legacy, as I didn't lay it yet, but I do know its gonna be just like the japanese versions of this game, which is called Zoids Saga, I downloaded it for VisualBoy Advanced so I can play GameBoy Advanced games on my computer and it was excellent, except for the part that it was in japanese and I didn't understand a word they said. It is a little like Pokemon, you have to go in cities and towns and travel from there to there and catch zoids, well you don't catch them you get their data so you can build them. But in the long run, I am expecting this game to be the best GBA game of 2003!

I'm pretty sure thisis the translation of Zoids Saga, which is a wonderful game, even if you can't understand what's going on. You start out with 4 characters and all this crazy stuff happens and you end up travekling backwards and forwards through time meeting up with the characters from Chaotic Century, Guardian Force, and New Century Zero. It's a pretty cool game and the graphics aren't bad at all, and with customizable zoids, characters, and a nice music score, what more could you want to fit in the palm of your hand. But then again I love zoids so I guess if people don't agree, people don't agree. I just rally hope that this is the translation of Zoids Saga 'cause if it is, it's gonna be a great game.

How much fun is Zoids Legacy? Depending on your interest in Zoids, it most definitely will be fun. It starts you off as a beginner Zoids pilot, as any normal game would. As you progress through the game you will be able to purchase better Zoids, better weapons, and upgrade items. It takes a little while to beat the game, but as you go from one time period to the next on the game, it will get more challenging. The final battle you have to beat......well, you have to play the game for yourself to find out.

OK, first I want to tell the person who wrote the last review that zoids is on at 8:00 PM on saturday night (at least in this state) on cartoon network. The game sounds like it is going to be a basic role playing game(RPG) where you play as one of the characters in the zoids, taking part in battles and gaining weapons, but no one seems to know exactly what it's going to be like yet, so that's just a geuss. I'm definitly getting this game if it's zoids no way is it not going to be fun.

i know what most people are thinking im a zoids geek but really zoids are fun besides most zoids fans didnt like zoids than saw the show got hooked on the show then took it to the next level by getting the game or models and we dont make fun of all of you wathching sponge bob who is very gay (happy) with guys but anyway the game is going to be like the show (which that is good because they took the show off cartoon network) so if your like me and you wana wathch zoids but there isnt anything on remotely good you need to have this game (to bad it isnt out yet) anyway it is going to be asome
