Extremely slow, gets boring fast

This game is incredibly frustrating because of how slow it is. The AI is also dumber than any game I've played before. It seems to purposely lose. I regretted buying this game after having it only a few days. Stay away from it. If you must play Yu-Gi-Oh, get the card games.

Buy This Excellent Waste of Money!!!

Yugioh Dungeon dice monsters is the worst game I have ever played. The game requires no talent at all. Luck is what makes you win here. Games like that aren't really worth having. The television episode was kind of interesting but this is a terrible game. Even the Pokemon games are better and I hate Pokemon games. Dungeon Dice Monsters is an award-winning game. It wins the Biggest Insult To Video Games award. This excuse for a video game is terrible.

P.S. I PUT ONE STAR, BUT THERE WAS NO OPTION FOR ZERO STARS.

This game had good propect, but with a big problem. Only a few monsters have any kind of special abilities, and the ones that do it omes down to luck to get them. It runs into the same problem with dark duelist stories had on the GBC. 1 random card was given to you at the end of a duel, didn't allow for any stradegy or focus. Then coupled with the fact you had to duel nearly a hundred times to get anything worth while. The game loses it's intrest quickly.

The play needs a bit of work to allow for more crests and summons, since many times your left with nothing to do, waiting for you to roll the right crest to fight or even be able to defend yourself.

All in all a let down, I hope they try to remake it, and work out the bugs, and look forward to try a new version out, but I don't recommend buying this game at all.
The computer AI needs a bit of work, as some people have nothing in the lines of monsters, while others have incredably powerful monsters at their disposal and you run into them at a random order. Also the computer wastes moves, running some monsters in circles.
The only plus is the styragedy that goes along with placing of your dungeon pieces. and the ability to lock your enemy down by cutting off his room to place dungeon pieces.

Totally [weak]

I don't understand why anyone finds this to be a good game. Winning is trivial. I never played dungeon dice monsters before and I have yet to lose a game. The AI is out to lunch. To win I just set the quickest path to the dice master, roll a level one character and attack. The AI is so stupid it won't go after me to stop the attack. Beyond that, the save game feature is [weak] as you can't save except at the end of a tournament. Since it takes about an hour or more to finish a tournament, this imposes sever restrictions on playing. Also, the user interface doesn't allow you to look in detail at two or more choice for a "dimensioning" in order to decide which is the best one to choose.

I had high hopes for this game, but am sad to say the lousy AI and poor game save feature has ruined it for me.

This game has very bad graphic. Also it has a monster that isn't even true like himonre which attack power is 1200 but has a effect. the effect is your entire deck is nonusable if this card is not in play. so your anly choice is
to play it and stop from losinf but it'll die anyway. also if u dont play it then u will lose the duel. ...

this game is terrible! A monkey could play this game! It makes a mocory of everything Yu-Gi-Oh- stands for. Do not buy this game or i'll be mad you didn't listen to me. one of the reasons it's not a good game is because of the dueling style there is. and it has terrible graphics.

What if it was not duel monsters?

What if Dungeon Dice Monstrers (DDDM) had a different set of monsters, and left out characters from the series?
The game would not sell as well.

This game is not duel monsters, or about expanding on that premise. In the TV show DDM was dislayed as similar to duel monsters and exciting, but it is not. After all, Konami displayed their Dance game for the PS2 (whatever the game is called), as a dueling device in the Yugioh world, where big bullies will trip Tea, just to win the 'prestigious dance game, and be heroes in the eyes of the community' ...yawn! The DDM episodes, and the dance show were blatant advertisement for their games. And where is truth in advertising today?

At first DDM seems complex and interesting. After playing several tournaments, the shallowness hits you in the head like a brick falling from the 50th floor, and boredom kicks in. The game promises you excitement, but leaves you wondering where the fun or the strategy really is.

You only win one monster at a time, a step back from current games. And the big beef is: YOU CANNOT SAVE A TOURNAMENT IN PROGRESS?? Konami is really living up their duel monster game monopoly. They let you know that you do not get options for their electronic games, and you should be happy that they allow you to play.

The PS2 game has a superior movement and summoning system than DDM, and does not sacrifice the original game , in favor of the quick buck.

This really does not compare to duel monsters. It is an inferior game packaged in the duel monsters wrapper. If you are a die-hard fan of the TV series, and like interacting with the characters, then you will still enjoy this game. If you like the strategy of duel monsters, you will not find that here

A bit too unintelligent

It's a great game concept, it plays out well, and is fun for a while, but the computer player isn't very intelligent, and once you figure out how to beat him, which shouldn't take too long if you pay attention, the fun factor goes way downhill.

From cards to dice?

I played this game in its Japanese format. I don't know what changes were made, but I'm a big fan of the Duel Monsters card game. It's not that the game is a difficult one to adapt to, it's just that there are so many rules on the dice and combinations that it makes the gameplay more then a little difficult to understand. Different roles of the dice gives different abilities when matched up correctly. It's not a bad game, in fact, it's easy to get hooked on it. If you've ever played a D&D type game, but with strategy and elements involved, then you should do fine. Personally, I'd rather stick with the card game, but DDM is worth it, if you can get over the rules and regulations/game play, that is.

YU-GI-OH DUNGEON DICE MONSTERS SHOULD BE FUN

3 Rating: 3, Useful: 6 / 17

This game would be sort of fun. I think it won't be as good as Yu-gi-oh Dark duel stories. What it should have is 5 cards included in the game like Dark Duel stories... People who enjoy yu-gi-oh you should buy it.
