There aren't too many ways to say this is one of the worst games I have ever played, definitely the worst game on Wii.

this is a good game

Far cry Vengeance is a really fun game to play. The graphics are not the best but get the job done. The controls are great and makes you feel in the game. If you like red steel or call of duty 3 you will like this one as much.

Avoid this game. It is not even worth a rental. I paid 10 bucks in a discount bin, and I feel robbed. As everyone else has said the graphics are abominable. Even with turning sensitivity cranked all the way up it felt like it took WAAY to long to turn to face my enemies. I beat the first level and felt dirty.

They should have employees hiding near the discount bins in stores ready to knock-you out if you pick up this game... Just do yourself the favor and dust off the N64 and wax nostalgic on some Goldeneye.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

To anyone considering the purchase of Far Cry: Vengeance be warned: IT IS HORRIBLE! I bought it used for $7 bucks and it was the biggest waste of money that I have EVER experienced with ANY game or accessory PERIOD. Check out the past reviews rating this as a 1 star and take them all to heart. This game is a true turkey in all respects. Graphics, game play, sound, etc. were all bottom of the barrel and UBI Soft should hide their heads in shame for releasing such garbage. If creating pig excrement on CD was a category at the game awards, then UBI should get a gold medal! As I type this the wretched game sits collecting dust until I remember to turn it in to GameStop for a few bucks credit. Either that or be a humanitarian and break it so that nobody else falls prey to the financial waste that I experienced...

Incredibly disappointing

I had high hopes for this game, but once played the whole thing comes crubling down. the wii-controls are sloppy, the graphics were worse than a DS and the fun level is minimal to none

-sold the game 15 hours after i bought it

PLEASE DON'T BUY IT!!!

This game is terrible. The graphics are appalling, even going by GameCube standards. At times, some of the environments make it feel like an N64 game: sparce, flat, pixelated land hemmed in bluntly and artificially by foliage with dull-looking buildings composed with only a handful of textures. The AI is terrible. Don't expect exciting gun fights unless this is maybe your first shooter. The enemy will often just stand there and shoot until dead or get caught on a building or props. Fact is, I would probably be impressed (though maybe a little annoyed) with this game as an N64 or PSX effort. Playing on those consoles is the last time I remember shooting vaguely in the direction of a misshapen lump of pixels, realizing that that's how the game represents a far-off enemy. As one of the first Wii shooters, I can respect its position as an early example of the potential the console has to become a great 1st person shooter machine, but little else beyond that.
It seems like most every motion-oriented gameplay element they tried to implement they just did wrong. The grenade throwing feels kind of nice, but that's easy. For some reason, the developers decided that to zoom you should jerk the remote horizontally forward or backward. Of course it is not implemented in a way that makes it possible to do this effectively without completely loosing your place on the screen with your reticle, so forget about shooting at an enemy that may be running away then zooming in to make a satisfying kill. Situating the zoom like that makes zooming feel less like a helpful shooting tool and more like an altogether separate shooting mode which you must decide wether or not it is safe to be in at the time. Also, you are supposed to "attack" by doing some sort of side-swiping forward slash. This feels alright, but again disrupts your reticle which, if it travels close to the edge of the screen, will start turning you, often causing you to miss your target in CLOSE-RANGE COMBAT! "Broken" is the only way to describe that.
It's games like this that really make me worry about the console. It always seems like we're getting good games for Wii when in actuality, this is what turns out. Hopefully in the future, Wii developers will stop dumping this excrement on the public in lieu of developing an actual video game. But the more people buy these atrocious games without spending some time finding out if they are worth buying, the more of these games the developers turn out because they know they can make an easy buck on the game's initial release, then an extra buck from bargain-bin sales.

game play: a lot less than the PC Version but it is still a good game to play. It seems to me that the game was easier in medium than on the PC version medium.

graphics: were not as good as i thought it was going to be. 3 out of 5 overall rating.

Actor: They had a different actor playing jack which i was dissapointed.

Sounds: They had pretty good soundFX.

Overall: I was glad i bought this game.

In all honesty, I couldn't even get past the terrible graphics in the opening sequence. Even the worst computer games of 1993 didn't look this bad!!!

The mouth movements didn't sync with the audio. And what is the deal with all of the terrible fake accents???

All of this was way too much for me, since I had a stack of other Wii games that were far better executed. I popped this disc out and put the game up on ebay.

Just terrible

Where do I start..... Some of the worst graphics this side of the PS1. The repitition of the maps make for one boring game. Controls are bad. The cut scenes are goofy and once again the graphics ruin them. Game is constantly saving itself making for jumpy game play. I can't think of one positive thing to say about this game. Thank God that it was a free rental! Try Resident Evil 4 or the Godfather which are both fantastic games.

Fun controls, poor graphics

Far Cry: Vengeance is actually quite fun, that is if you can get past the the early Sega Dreamcast graphics and the original Timesplitters AI. The gameplay is actually good, but the production values are poor, but for $15, it's easily worth it.
