it is know good. I like Tony Hawk for playstaon better!

I am a long time Nintendo fan. Even now, when I have a Playstation 2, and no Gamecube, I still like Nintendo more. So this review is not just a bias complaint about Nintendo vs. Playstation.

This version of THPS2 is terrible. Oh, yeah, it's tons of fun when you haven't played the Playstation version, but when you have, you realize just how pitifull this is. On PS, it's rated T, because they don't blurt out words like "hell" on songs. On Nintedno, It's rated E, so the whole family can enjoy censored versions of songs by Powerman 5000, Papa Roach & Rage Aganist the Machine. And another thing music wise: THEY DON'T EVEN PLAY THE WHOLE SONG! They cut out one of the choruses and the verses (this is an example), and just let it go from there. And the track doesn't go to the next track when it's done; it just plays over and over and over, to where you have to change it yourself every 3 listens. And it's not just the music. There's too much to say, so just play the PS version, PLEASE!

When I got Tony Hawk 1 I thought it was the coolest game ever!!......Until I got Tony Hawk 2!!! You can play tag, free-skate, grafidi, horse, and trick-attack. In horse you can make words to play with. You can change the skaters clothes! If you like skate board games get TONY HAWK 2!!!!!

This game is not worth a purchase if you played the Dreamcast or Playstation versions. But if you have nevered played it, then you should check it out. The game features all the stages from THPS2 for PS and DC. The controls are great but I prefer the PS controller. The sound as usual sucks, but hey what N64 game has good sound? The graphics are a mess. Awful graphics. I mean sometimes its so blurry, you can barely make out the face of the skater. This game is good, but it's just so ugly. The PS version had above average graphics, and the DC was crystal clear. The park editor and manual feature are the best features in this game. I think the THPS series were meant to be played solo, but they give you a couple of 2-players games. It's still fun to play though, but the graphics and sound do take away soem of the fun. I gave this game 3 stars, because it's fun, the effort the guys at Activison put in to it, and it actually came out. This game was cancelled before but somehow they uncancelled it. If you have a N64, DC, and a PS. Buy the DC version as your first choice, PS version as your second choice, and the N64 version would be the final choice.

I played this game on Playstation and then on N64 and I was pretty impressed on how fun it was ... Although it didn't have as good graphics as on PLaystation, it was still very fun.

This is a really great game and its very fun. HOwever if you have the first version or have it on another console don't buy it. Its a good game but the first one is definitely superior to the second. Plus the first game is 10 bucks less. If you have a playstation or DC then get it on that platform or if you have playstation 2 or are going to get Gamecube wait and get Tony 3 which is scheduled to be out for both platforms before Christmas 2001

This is a really fun game! My little brother rented it from blockbuster and I was playing it most of the time! I just couldn't put the controller down, it was just so fun! My favorite part of it was especially grinding. The most fun I had was in the 2 player part of grafitti! You have to do a really good move on a part of the park and the other player can steal it. The 2 diff. players are red and blue. The part you won is the color you are (example: say you did a BS disaster, and got 800 points and the other person got 600 you just won that part of the park. Say it was blue before now its red because you are red). Yes it is kinda blurry on graphics but it doesnt really matter that much, does it? As long as you can see the person and what you have to do then it's fine. I dont know what that person is talking about so blurry that you cant see stuff, that person is totally wrong. Hope I helped you out on your decision on buying it. (it surely is on my christmas list)It is worth every CENT! Thanks 4 reading!

Tony Hawk's Proskater 2 is a pretty good game to play. Unlike tony hawks proskater 1, you can build you'r own skatepark with jumps, ramps and rails to grind on. There are afew new characters to choose from. You can even create you'r own skater which is pretty funny because you can make them have the weirdest clothes on and make them what ever size you want. But you have to have a controller pack to save a game or you have to start from the beginning and play all over again. The different levels are cool. You still have to find the secret tapes and earn points for tricks to advance to the next level, and there are some new things you have to find that weren't in #1. But overall this is a good game to get.

its a great game, but kinda bad in the sound department

i have basically played every version of tony hawk 2 and theyre all fun. this versions no different. it has all the elements that make the other ones fun and great. the only problem with this version is that theres only 6 songs out of all of them that were on the psx or dreamcast version. theyre all the songs that i hated, like the chuck d one and dub pistols. theyre also edited, limiting only some instruments and the chorus. that really blows. other than that tho, this game is terrific. but only buy it if youre ready to listen to your own music. i turn the music off and listen to some alien ant farm and blink 182.
