Not many people remember the adventures of Ace Harding in the NES title, Deja Vu. I do though. Deja Vu was one of the last classic text based adventures. Waking up in a bathroom stall with no memory of who you are, and blood on your hands, you must figure out your identity and what has happened to you. But that's just the first part. Originally Deja Vu 2 was supposed to be released as a sequel on the NES, but the game got cancelled. Until now that is. The sequel has been included onto this game pak for a great two for one deal. Though this is a great game, you need to have a love for reading, a logically thinking brain, and a tolerance for the rather clumsy interface system. Despite this though, the game is wonderful and should be bought.
Nintendo did it again.

Its so awesome to see one of the best NES games ever come back on a different console. I was a huge fan of Deja Vu back in the days of the NES, and took me awhile to beat it. It is challenging and tons of fun. I could just imagine how much fun it would be to be playing Deja Vu while i'm travelling.
The game is worth the first deja vu alone, but it even comes with a second one. While the second one is a far cry from the replay value and fun that the first one did, it still is pretty good.
The reason i'm giving this 4 stars is because of how they tried to fit it all into one screen. They did an alright job of getting everything in there, but i can see how a new Deja Vu player would be confused and overwhelmed. Hope i helped.
Don't get too excited...

I was very excited when I purchased this game. All the others review say how this game is so amazing and perfect. At first look, I changed my mind. Repeated music, hard to control, and much more. Do yourself a favor and buy F-Zero instead.
DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!!

This game is the worst game i have ever played on Gameboy! It's confusing, boring, and stupid, with bad graphics. Don't waste your money on this game! There are much better games out there!

Excellent game!

I am a fan of the PC version, and was pleased to see this available! You have 3 different saves and can start a new game without losing the old one. The interface is similar to Shadowgate Classic for GBC and the music sets the right mood for its time period. It has a lot of red herrings (false clues, etc) and danger looms around every corner. This game will keep you on your toes; the instant you complete part 1, you go into part 2 into more danger and mystery! If graphic adventures are to your liking, you will love Deja Vu I and II.
Great puzzle game

This game is modeled after the classic still-interface games from the 80's in which you use one word commands to interact with the environment (look, use, take, open, close, talk, hit, and leave) The game takes place in Chicago/ Las Vegas in the 30's and is very nostalgic and fun at the same time. You basically pick up items and try to piece together clues in order to figure out what happened. It is quite challenging. If you have never played it before and you enjoy these style games, you should definately buy it. Another similar game by the same company which takes place in Midevil times is Shadowgate. If you like Deja Vu you will like Shadowgate, and vice versa.

Deja Vu was one of my favorite games for NES, and I'm so glad it's now available for gameboy. It is a little tough to figure out, but then again, most detective games are. I consider this game to be a classic, right up there with Castlevania and Shadowgate, though it is not as well known. I honestly liked it better than Shadowgate, but that's just my personal taste. I think most people would enjoy this game....
One of the worst Gameboy games I have ever bought

The graphics are fine, and for what it is, the game is fine. The problem is that the game isn't much fun. Basically, the game consists of you looking through drawers, pockets, etc to try to get things to help you. The problem is that you never know what you are going to need. You end up with sausages and plates in your pockets, and the game is so arbitrary that there is no sense of real game flow. If you love these types of games, you probably won't be disappointed, but Shadowgate (made by the same people) was much better than this game.
A Must-Own

If you own a Game Boy Color, you must own this game. It has the best graphics on a Game Boy Color game (it's even more improved than the NES version), great stories, and has you thinking most of the time, time that you don't have. You have to cure your amnesia before your clock runs out! Are you still reading this? Go buy it!
