Controls are terrible!

I was looking forward to a complete packing of MK for GBA, but the controls and gameplay was horrible. Very hard to execute moves and it was way too easy for the CPU opponent to sweep you into oblivion. I ended up trading this one back.

If you want portable Kombat for Game Boy Advance, go for MKII and MKIII instead.

(looking foward to MK Deadly Alliance)

FUN!

This was one of the best games ive ever played! The graphics are great the sound is good and the fatalitys and friendships are awesome! If you are a mk fan get it.

I must admit, when I saw some of the first reviews for Mortal Kombat Advance, it didn't look so good. I'm a Mortal Kombat fan, so I decided to give it a try. It has great graphics, decent gameplay, and quality sound. This game has potential to be better, but it is still a solid title.

I cant waight to get it!

Ok I was mad at this game! My cousin got this and I played it thinking WOW they brought back Mortal Kombat! Now I though it was going to be like MK or MK2 the better of all the other MK games but no the chose MK3?!?! I mean sure MK3 is an ok game but its no where to MK or MK2. I think they should eather give up on MK games or start over from scratch.

this is game is COOL

i have mortal kombat for ps and its the same one has mortal kombat A. its so much fun. theres 24 diffrent players. and they all have a diffrent tecniques. there are so many diffrent charecters. some are really strong, 1 freeze's people, another throws webs at them, and a bunch more. don't be fooled by the other people's reviews. this game is good. the graphics are good too. if you've ever played this game and you like it, get it. eveyrone has diffrent opinons. the other mortal kombat game for GBA called dealdy allience, i'm sure its pretty good, but i like this 1 better cuz the charecters are cooler. This game is awesome. if its too hard. which i don't think so, but if it is then just go to options and there is a thing were you can change the skill level, on handycap.

Are these reviewers paid by Midway???

[...].Don't believe the hype. I know the GameBoy Advance has it's limits, but in this case it's quantity over quality. Hard to control, sound effects are iffy, graphics are hard to see...shall I continue? Street Fighter Turbo is a good translation to GBA...MK Advance is a bad translation. Save your money people!!!

Why did they even bother

When Mortal Combat hit the arcade, it was a fighting game worthy to be played. It was followed up by Mortal Combat 2 which was also a worthy fighting game. After MK2, the game became a joke. Today, MK is a joke because they haven't even incorporated a good combo system like any capcom fighter or SNK fighter. Acclaim needs to give this title a frikin rest. They are just as bad as George Lucas releasing Episodes 4,5, and 6 again.

Bottom line is, if you played a single MK game in your life, then you arent missing out by not playing MKA. Go get a real fighting game rather than this lame piece of work.

Awsome

compared to the othe other gba fighting games, this game rocks! The graphics are good plus there is good variety, in the charachters and the moves.
