The Spore creature creator is much more fun than you would expect something that is not a game to be. Creating creatures seems to be enough of a game in and of itself to keep me busy for hours. I just know that once the actual game comes out I will become a shutin.
Really fun,Ignore the complaints

I can't believe all the whining going on about copy protection on this game. Its just game companies protecting their property. If you have a problem with this you might as well give up gaming because this is the way its going. Most of these people are pirates anyways. And if you can't run this game, your pc is really old and you shouldn't be posting anything.
Now this game is going to be alot of fun. My neices are having so much fun playing with it. When the full game comes out,i will have to buy more than one copy. A very unique game that will be very popular when it comes out. It is really something different. And i will enjoy playing it.
Great Teaser

Okay...this game, for being $10, is very graphically demanding. But, you just have to learn that you can't play games that don't mesh with your system.
On its merits, this game is VERY good. It is highly addictive, and you can create tons of creatures in no time! It is limited in what you can do with your creatures, but it is only a TEASER! Imagine the same assembly platform building vehicles, spacecraft, buildings, and more! I can't wait for the full game!
Excited

Even though it was just a preview of the game, it really showed the time that's been going into the final product: Spore. The level of customization is amazing. A good deal more than a million different creatures have already been created by players of this game. The interface is very user-friendly, and I can tell that Spore is going to have great game-play and graphics.
So much fun!!

I first tried the free demo of this game (unlimited time demo with 25% of creature parts available) and it was absolutely a delight.
I purchased the full version and it is being used by grandkids, niece, nephews and even the neighbor kids. ENDLESS fun.
With a simple drag and drop format, you can create the most professional animated creatures; comparable to something found in a Disney movie. Actually...these are better...MUCH better.
Try the free demo version at Spore.com. Kids from 4 to adult will enjoy this. It stimulates creativity and imagination.
Play offline or log in to upload your creatures in seconds (with a one button click) to your Spore web page where it can be viewed by millions of Spore fans. Your personal Spore webpage is FREE and is
auto created when you register your demo or full version of game.
I highly recommend this over any game I've ever found. EVERY single kid and adult I show it to is immediately interested in making their own creature. So much fun!
Please note that you do need to to use an internet connection the first time you load game, to register it. This provides three installs of game.
So much fun !

This game just isn't all that great!!!
I say... just stick with Sims 2 or look forward to Sims 3.
Spore might be fun for elementary school children but past that age it is BORING!!!
Boring, boring boring...
Making creatures that walk backwards was funny

All I can say is I am definitly getting spore in september when its released or soon after. This is a ton of fun. I can't wait to see my cousin's little girl try this when they come for visit . This will keep kids and us older folks amazed for hours. It definitly teaches you bout anatomy as I know I made two or three things first that walk backwards til I figured how it went. Which is fun I can't wait to see how those things move around when the spore game comes out haha. Its why this game is so fun. Rated E Everyone can play it good change from those bloody gorey things I am used to playing. Person who made the sims made this also so I guess if you love sims and zoo tycoon stuff this is gonna be even more fun then those. Imagine making your own creature and watching it evolve and survive. Possilibites of this are going to be endless and fun. Can't wait for the full version by then haha with this I outta have some pretty weird looking creatures thanks to this pre starter pack. I love it glad i picked it up . For 9 bucks you get lots of entertainment outta this thing thats for sure. haha I love it what else can i say.
$10 worth of fun? I think so!

We tried to put this program on our Mac first, and it didn't work. So we tried it on my XP-running PC. There was no problem installing it there, and it was amazing how quickly we started creating creatures, we being myself and my 12-year-old daughter.
You decide what qualities you want your creature to have, and you're given choices of limbs and extras to give your creature those characteristics. Add wings, and your character can glide. Add a spikey tail, and watch your character's attack points go up. Add armor parts to make your character's health go up. You can then watch your character attack, dance hip hop, swoon with love and more. It's so much fun!
I suspect this will probably get about 30 hours of play before my daughter gets bored of it, but 30 hours of entertainment for $[...] isn't bad at all. I'm not sure if she'll ever play with her characters online (we don't approve of violent video games), but that's fine with us. Spore Creature Creator is loads of fun on its own.
Seriously, this is worth the $[...] if you have a creative teen or tween.
What a waste of money.

After waiting for so long for Spore to come out (which, of course, is still months away), I was really excited to see that the Creature Creator was available. I was hoping to get a sense of how the game will work, as well as to get a head start on my creations.
The Creature Creator is unbearably slow, which sucks all of the (potential) fun right out of it. Not only that, but when I tried to save my creature the first time, it froze up and I had to force a shut down without saving, so all of my work was for nothing.
Not to be deterred, I gave it another shot. This time, when I tried to save my creature, my whole computer crashed.
The problem is not my computer; it was fine before I used the Creature Creator, and it's fine now. The problem is this ridiculously slow, aggravating, useless waste of time.
Save your money.
I sure wish I had.
