great, but frustrating

This game is fantastic. It is a must own for any platform or megaman lover, and a great game to have for people that dont love megaman. The graphics are flawless. n( i love that green blob) The gameplay is basic and easy to learn. The only complaint that i have is, it is *$%& hard. Sometimes you just have to get hit by the enemies, the bosses are freakin imposiible. ok not impossable, but tough. be prepared to play each level over and over again. But its a great challenge. You certainly wont finish it in a day. Also, you could be. megaman or bass. im not sure if they have 2 different games because im currently using megaman.

MM and Bass is a very challenging game but is so cool if u get used to it and actually beat lvls. The first few days after i bought the game i was mad cause i got stuck on BurnerMan but after i beat him i was pretty good at the game. I highly recommend this game if u are a hardcore gamer.

Megaman's games are getting better every time

I've tried to get this game ever since it came out and finally got it for 8$ and trust me,it was worth the wait.I'm a serious megaman fan and a game master,but i've had this game for 3 months and I still havn't beat it.I like the fact that you can play with bass.He's really good.My ratings:

Hey gamefans, this game rules! I downloaded an emulated version of the japanese super nintendo version from "a file sharing program" and it's really awesome! (Rockman et Forte)Anyway, it's a great game and when it comes out everyone should get it!

I used to play Rockman and Forte (the original Japanese title) on the Super Famicom (SNES) all the time, and loved it. So I wondered why the game never made it to the US. Even now it is mysterious that it took so long. I love my copy to death. It's great to have the choice between Megaman and Bass... Trebel is so cool looking... and this game is definately challenging. The levels are really involved too.

I own this game and REALLY like it. But some times the bosses can get really anoying and then you get a game over, and have to restart the level. But this makes it so when you finally beat the boss you fell like celebrating!

Mega Man & Bass is must have for any fan of the original games. I loved the original Mega Man Series and "Mega Man 9" is no disapointment. Even though the plot is a bit old having been repeated 8 times it offers new exciting bosses and playing as Bass offers new challenge. But my overall favorite is Mega Man 3, but hey I also like the others well. Mega Man Anviversery Collection and tthis will complete your collection of Mega Man 1 - 9.

Bass?! Sweet! In the other Megaman games that I have, Bass is so hard to beat. Now I might get to kick bootie with him!

I have played every Mega Man game there is (minus the battlenetwork megas. not my cup of tea) and have enjoyed almost everyone of them. I enjoy this one but it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. The ratio of my wins to the bosses had to be 20:1. That is a good thing of course because I blew through the entire Mega Man Anniversary package in one week. Meaning, I beat 10 Mega Man games in 7 days.

Now, this Mega Man game really isn't anything new. Same formula and is actually in my opinion a remake of Mega Man 8. Same bosses pretty much and same basic level design, so if you've played Mega 8 you are not missing much.

With that said it is still worth getting. I bought it for 8 bucks at eb games used and loved it for the challenge.

This game is a fun game for me, but it is also a terrible and frustrating game to others. It just depends. If you have played others in the series, then you will like it. If you are new to the Mega Man games, then you have to ask yourself: Am I a person that will laugh or say "oh well" when I die many times on the same boss?
Or will i scream and throw a humongous raving fit....... and my GBA?
This is because this is a very hard game. You die instantly if you hit spikes and you dont get health increases. You can choose from two playable charracters (Megaman or Bass) and each has special attributes. Megaman tends to be easier on Bosses while Bass has an easier time on the levels. All in all, a GREAT game if you don't get frusterated very easily.
