I bought this on as it is similar to Elite beat Agents, with the understanding that this would be classical music. HOWEVER upon hearing the music, I was disappointed that it is MIDI (computer generated). I crank EBA with headphones so I may hear the (mostly) great music. I don't think I can do this with this game as the sound quality is so low. And Classical music is hard to listen to if it isn't of good quality. Sadly this game has no target audience, as the baby boomers will be disappointed by the lame presentation and the younger set won't like the music or animation. Another disappointment is the cut scenes are rendered in crude 3d, when standard animation is MUCH more suitable for the material. The action part of the game is pretty good though as you slide the wand instead of tapping. There is still tapping but the sliding is meant to make it feel like you are conducting the music. If you miss a note there is a noticeable shift in the pitch of the music causing sour notes. Annoying at first, but it is a good audio indicator of how you are doing and a good incentive to try harder. Over all not bad but feels like it could have been so much more. If you like this game even a little them Elite Beat Agents would be a sure bet.
