This game is a lot of fun. If you liked Lego Star Wars you will like this game as well. I did find a few bugs in it though.. a few times I had to start a level over in order to finish it. Also, it is very annoying that you can't skip any of the animations.. and before you can start any level, you have to watch that screen with the red line moving around on the map. No way to skip that. I still like the game, in spite of those annoyances.
Loads of fun

Traveller's Tales returns with another Lego-based game, this time focusing on the Indiana Jones franchise after conquering the world of Star Wars. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is exactly what the title implies: the original Indy trilogy in Lego form. It should be noted right now that if you've played any of the Lego Star Wars games, you'll feel right at home here. The gameplay itself is relatively simple, family friendly fun that nearly anyone can pick up and play. Co-op mode is where the real fun of Lego Indiana Jones is to be had though, and like Lego Star Wars before it, the game just has a sense of undeniable charm to it that you can't help but get some enjoyment in the very least out of it. It may not take you too long to breeze through the game though, but if you do, it is worth going back and playing again just to catch all the game's in-jokes and visual gags, along with a horde of hidden items and goodies as well. If there's any real flaws to the game, it's that the AI isn't all that good in terms of enemies and AI-controlled pals, but as a whole, Lego Indiana Jones is massively enjoyable. All in all, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures continues the tradition of wonderfully fun and family friendly games, and is definitely worth picking up for Indy fans or anyone looking for some good clean fun.
If you LOVED LEGO Star Wars, you'll LIKE this!

I got this simply on Travelers Tales previous efforts with LEGO Star Wars. While there are plenty of similarities (the funny cut scenes, picking up studs for money, minikits (artifacts in LEGO Indy), red bricks (parcels in LEGO Indy)), there are many new features; such as Indy's whip used to grab, pull, and attack with, use items in the levels (like pulling torches off the wall or picking up chairs, wine bottles, or goblets to attack enemies) and you can pick up weapons dropped by bad guys.
Overall, I am very happy we got LEGO Indy and you will be, too.
This game is SO much fun!

This game is everything it promises to be!! If you liked Lego Star Wars, you'll like Lego Indiana Jones. Fun action, co-operative play, puzzles, and now the added bonus of whipping your wii-mote to use Indy's whip! I have nothing bad to say about this game. I'm so glad I bought it. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it!
Great

When I finally bought my Wii, I didn't want to buy any expensive games and end up not liking them, so I ended up renting this one to start out with. I love Indiana Jones (the movies), and really liked Lego Star Wars so I thought I would give this one a go.
I will say that I really do enjoy playing this game and actually ended up buying a copy for myself since I found myself to like it so much. It is especially amusing in two-player mode and my family has gotten more than a few laughs out of that!
My only complaint, and the reason I gave it only four stars, is because it is actually a bit challenging at times. And I mean, really really challenging. I have had to refer to the game guide more than once just to get through the levels. I did think that this would be a bit easier because it seemed to be more of a kids game, but the game guide isn't that expensive, so if you aren't a great gamer, I recommend just picking up the guide along with the game.
PS: It is A LOT of fun to use the Wii remote to crack the whip!! lol
My Son Loves This Game...

I love the Star Wars Lego game and being a Indiana Jones fan I got this to I like this game better the the Star Wars game for a few reasons:
1. It is a little bit easier to play I have problems with several of the Star Wars levels for the Wii as they are not easy for someone who is not a avid gamer and have not been able to move past those levels because if it. (Hoth Battle for one!)
2. It really is extremely imersive and has all kinds of fun hidden things when you take the time to play the free play levels. (How many Star Wars characters have you rescued yet?)
3. The graphics are even better on this version really nicely done.
The bad things:
It can take a while to get to each level from the main map menu and that gets boring I'm not sure if this is just loading issue or they did not think about how boring it would be to wait to keep watching the red line go past every level to get to where you selected in Free Play mode. If it's just a loading issue it would be nice if the screen said loading, it would make me less impatient if I knew it was just the game loading. Silly, maybe, but it would help.
Also each level can be long and if you go into free play you cannot skip sections to get to where you want to go you have to start at the begining and go through the entire level all over again. *You can stop it when you want and save what you've done so far so if what you wanted to do is at the begining it isn't so bad. But you do not go back to where you saved if you leave you still have to start all over again.I'd love to be able to skip some of the bad guy battles I already went through so I could just go where I wanted to search through stuff.(This would be nice in the Star Wars game as well.)
But all in all this is still a brilliant game and is even better than the Star Wars game in my opinion.
COOL GAME!

This game is WAY better than Lego Star Wars. There are more challenging puzzles to figure out in each level. The people are easier to move around. There are more extras to buy. It's just an all around awesome game! I'm a nearly 40 yo mom and my husband bought this for me as an early birthday gift. Lots of fun!
We are loving this

As much fun as lego starwars, tho there seems to be a quirky bug. We have been endowed with 4 million (or is it billion?) gears very early on. We can buy anyone we unlock.
My sons adore this game
