Moderately fun , average gameplay

This game tries to expand the notorious Frogger arcade hit from the 80's by bringing an adventure-type gameplay and increasingly difficult missions to accomplish.

Gameplay is easy to grasp, the instruction booklet is almost not necessary as hints and help are available throughout the game. You are still in command of little Frogger, moving him in the familiar directions: north, south, east and, west. You can also jump/glide, rotate him and use his tongue to catch insects and do other stuff. This time Frogger not only needs to avoid traffic, alligators and water, he also needs to overcome and conquer boulders, snakes, henchmen, mean bosses and the evil Mr. D in order to claim victory.

Game music is upbeat and modern, appropriate for the each level. You can set sound effects, music, lives and continues at the Options screen. The game can be saved in one of the 4 internal slots available eliminating the need to enter a cryptic, easy-to-lose continue code. A very nice feature is the language selection. There are 5 languages to choose from including Spanish, English, French, Italian and German.

Graphics are clear and colorful, control response is fair. The only thing I found was that the game gets too difficult too fast. That could be the only reason against recommending it. But if you consider yourself a game jockey then you are in for a treat.

This was the BEST frogger game ever!!!It was the coolest game too, it got even better when the game goes on.There is 15 levels and every one is even better then the one before it.When you get to the temple of the frogs, it is hard but really fun.If you like action and adventure you will deffinitly like this game.

I thought this game was very fun.The first level is easy ,but once people try the second level they think it is hard.(Most of the levels have the same type of moves so once you get the hang of it its not so hard.)the temple is the best part in my opinion.The graphics are also pretty good,and the music is great.Some people say that the game is impossible to beat, but that's not true.I've beaten the game the whole way through until the end credits.Overall I thought this game was challenging,addictive,and very fun!

This game is soooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!! Although some of the levels need strategy, skills, and are really hard, I made it to the temple!!!!!!!!!!!!! Through all the 15 levels, I think it is, it was fun and cool. In this game you can save up to 4 games, so you don't have to worry about starting over. I reallly liked sea town, and the temple the best. Here's a hint for the cyclops owls-----think AHEAD!!!!! It may not seem like much, but when you get there, beleive, you'll need that. Hope all you little frogger fans like me have fun with this game, and take my advice carefully, to heart. Love this game alot, and you're like me. O ya!!!!!!!!! Bye bye y'all!!!!!!!!!!!: )

My daughter will be 6 in January and she loves this game. When we travel in the car I let her take 3 games, this game is ALWAYS one of the 3. What I really like about the games is for her she is a natural gamer and they make her think and problem solve.

We bought this game for our 6 year old son, but my Husband and I have become just as addicted to this game as he has. I'ts very entertaining and fun for the whole family. It's neither too challenging nor to simple to play.

What can I say about this game except to say it's cool, colorful and definitely a blast to play. Course, Frogger's always been a blast to play no matter how it's played. My friends hate Frogger but I've always thought it's beena fun and challenging game.
I'd like to recommend this to all GBA owners.

I am half way through this game after about 2 hours of play. It is fun but the biggest challenge is in trying to see. I am going to buy Mario Kart & Warioland 4 because they look brighter. I bought a light from InterAct but it only lights up the middle of the screen. Boo hoo.
