What really smells about this game is the the fact that to save it you have to write down a really long password on a piece of paper and then type it all in the next time you want to play. And it's hard to steer the plane and you can easily crash into the sea without even noticing.
I also don't like how every time you have to destroy a ship or refuel they turn it into a "mission". For example when early in the game you have to keep shooting at a ship until it sinks, but you have to be in a certain range on the map so when you enter the range the screen fades out and then in and your repositioned to face at the ship and when your done the same thing happens. It would have been much cooler if you could have just approached shot at it and turned around on your own.
Probably the one thing that I like most about the game is if you miss the explosion it shows up on your little screen inside the cockpit or when you fire a missile.

This game is really cool because the graphics are really good and the game is really fun. It can get challenging at some times, but thats what the game is about. I like how realistic it is because you can actually land the plane and take off.

It is very cool that someone finally found a way to make a fighter pilot game. It has very good graphics considering the system. It is a little hard to see the enemy aircraft sometimes but the map lets you know where they are. It is very hard in the beginnign when you are masturing the flight controls because while you are trying to do that there are about a billion missils on your tail. The constant beeping to let you know that there is a missil on your tail is anoying because you always have a missil behing you. Even with this is still suggest that you buy this game.

There is a game called Turn and Burn for SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and it is the exact same thing no different at all possibly even better. The graphics and the noises. The color is ok. It is so fun. It has a better feeling than some playstation games. I love this game. Possibly the best game for GBA. You even get to land it on the carrier.

Good Aircraft Game

I believe F-14 Tomcat is a pretty good game. It shows one what a GameBoy Advance can really do...you can do so much (change weapon, deplloy flare/chaff, select target from NAV computer, etc.) with just like ten buttons. The colors and graphics are amazing.

Here is a list of Pros and Cons of this game;

Pros:
1. Good graphics
2. Multiple units in game (MIGs, battleships, oil rigs, Black Bird, etc.)

Cons:
1. Auto-Landing (I don't know about you, but I personally prefer to land by myself, the real thing)
2. Not large playing environment.
3. No multiple files (you have to remember the password for the level you've last completed to go where you were)
4. No allies (only carrier which sinks relatively easily from enemy fire)

Overall, though the Cons outweigh the Pros, I would recommend this game.

AND THEIR GREAT!! this game looks like playstation quality.i mean its so realistic.of courseits a little blocky but it runs at a overpowerful frame rate and it is sooooooper.you should definitely purchase this game just to show the true power of the game boy advance

this is a very good game.its a good realistic simulation. In the game u are given a machine type gun and three different air to air missles including pheonix missles, sparrows, and sidewinders. depending on the mission you are most of the time given tomahawk missles for destroying ground targets. Also available are flares that set your enemys' missles off track. the 20 Missions include: destroying migs, destroying ships, destoying ground targets, and destroying other enemy planes such as bombers and radar planes. Migs shoot at you with both there guns and air to air missles. Submarines, SAM launchers, and tanks shoot at you with surface to air misiles. other realistic features are limited fuel, limited ammo, and the aircraft carrier that you take off and land from can be destroyed. a Refueling plane is available for one refueling each mission and you can land once on your aircraft carier to refuel, get repairs, and re-arm. Two difficulty levels are avvalible and when you beat the game there is a special features so the game isnt useless once its been beat.the reason this game gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because the take off and landing are to easy and arnt realistic in controls. one last thing: you are given a variety of radar screens. Great Game Here!

The Fraud that is great

Have any of you played the game "Turn and Burn" on the SNES, as you know the GBA has the same power as the SNES. But why did they have to copy it. Its got great gameplay and is cool but apart from a bit better colours and a few extra levels its the same. The cockpit and the carrier deck is the same if you look at the screenstops.

i got this game 3 months ago and i havent stoped playing it the wepons are realy good the one thing that i'd change is you can only land on the carrier once so you need to make every shot count. and to the guy who said he keped flying in the ocean dont point the nose down. dee da dee

this game has no point. it is so hard to hit the enemy! You shouldn't waste your money. Buy Medel Of Honor or somthing NOT this!!
