Son says it's "the best Pokemon game ever!"

I am definitely not the Pokemon fan in our house, but all the little boys are. We pre-ordered this & received it mid-week last week (thank you, Amazon). Everything else was immediately forgotten, because "my new game is here!"
He has played it quite a bit in the last week, and says it's the best Pokemon game yet. I can't give specifics, but it's definitely a 5-star rating from our household.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time Was one of the best games I've played. In fact, as much as I love it, it's better than Super Smash Brothers Brawl in my opinion. It does have a interesting story line, during the main story and the after. I've completed the game, and yet I can't stop even though there's not THAT much to do. I suggest this game to any Pokemon fan that enjoyed the last Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. It would still be good even if they haven't played the previous one that was terrific as well. It is totally worth the money, and will have you want to play it 24/7 as it did for me. It is also challenging but not too hard. Which makes great games. If you're not sure to buy this game or not, keep in mind this review and remember how much I liked it to give it a big 5 out of 5 star. If you have this game, you might know what I'm talking about right now. It has many twists and turns that make the game even more fun during the main story. If you played the last one, you may know that the ending was a little sad. This is one of the sad endings too, but will have you happy at the beginning of the after story. It is also interesting because it is sorted out into chapters like a book. This game isn't too long, but it's not short. This is my review of the terrific game that was made April 20th.

Love these rescue-type games! I feel like a hero when I have accomplished rescue jobs! Many graphics in the game are beautiful, and it is simple to learn!

I purchased this game for my grandson's 10th birthday. He had already given me a "hint" as to what he wanted. After he opened this gift, he was "locked in" for the rest of the day. Nothing else mattered. The birthday party went on without him as he was off into another world. I have not played this game myself, but I am sure he considers it his best gift. To grab and keep the attention of a 10-year old, it has to be the best.

Really Fun!

This game is addictive. It is a dramatic, emotional, and friendship seeking game. Even though when the game is over, there is even more fun stuff to do! Even though it can be beaten in about a week, this game is really fun! You should get this if youy are a fan of pokemon, and liked the first game. I aim to get all 490 Pokemon.

Even Better Than Previous PMDs!

This game was given to me for my birthday, and I had extremely high expectations for it. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. This game had an enchanting storyline to go along with the vivid graphics and characters. Like with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue, it has a sad ending, but with a joyous conclusion. Throughout the game are twists and turns so amazing that you can't be sure what to think, or who to trust.
The only problem I can find is the long cut-scenes, but I can hardly complain, as they are crucial to understanding the the whole story. Along terms of difficulty, the bosses are hard, but not not too hard. All your other opponents seem easy, but they can be deadly.

I bought this for my 13-year-old daughter. She thinks it is VERY fun. She has only had it a week, but has played it constantly. She says the plot is somewhat confusing, which I think means it is challenging. She still has problems fainting a lot in the game. Both she and her 14-year-old cousin play it A LOT.

this game is pretty sad at the end, but other than that, it's pretty fun.when I graduated from the guild (at the end) they gave me tons of money, but I fergot to put it in the bank, so I lost it all. DON'T make that mastake! its the best pokemon gam I've played, with only pokemon.

A game that sticks to the plot...literally!

I have Pokemon Dungeon Red and Blue. Having both, it didn't take much for me to want the new Explorers of Time and Darkness.
I've noticed a big difference in between the new games, and the Red and Blue versions.
In Time and Darkness, yes. You can play a pokemon just like the older versions. But you pretty much stick with the plotline. Unlike the older versions, where in some parts of the game, you could take jobs as much as you wanted.
In Time and Darkness, you can take side paths indefinitely, or go back to the beginning of a dungeon in some parts. But you can't take as many jobs as you like, for as long as you want.
The dungeons also seem to get a lot harder, and have traps during some parts of the story plot. It also seems a lot harder to recruit new pokemon to join your team.
It's still a fun game. But has a lot of cons to it. But if you like Mystery Dungeon. Give it a go.
