I can't beleive that this game got such good reviews! It is sooooo boring! It is really fun for about 3 days, but then you just get frustraited and bored. The whole game is just a bunch of hard puzzles. Its kind of cool that you can animate your own characters, but the game is not entertaining enough. I also bought some zelda games for my game boy advance, and those are all i play. I never play chu chu rocket anymore, and I am sorry I bought it. The only reason I bought it was because it got such good reviews...! These people that say the game is addictive are nuts! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!! IT WILL BORE YOU TO DEATH! BUY THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ORACLE OF AGES AND SEASONS. THOSE ARE GREAT GAMES.

Sega has done a nice job on chu chu rocket, the great gameplay makes up for the poor graphics. The object of the game is to direct your chu chus or space mice with arrows you place on the board to guide them to the safety of the rockets, but not if the Kapu Kapus or space cats have something to say about it, keep KKs out of your rockets and lead them into an foe's rocket cuasing them to lose points. However there are many other modes of play besides this, I personally love puzzle mode, you have a limited # of arrows to place and guide your CC's past KK's and pits to guide them to the rocket. You think you'll beat the few puzzles on this game in a matter of hours, but there are actually over 2000 puzzles to play! Plus you can create and save over 100 puzzles of your own creation, I just love creating difficult puzzles and letting my siblings try and solve them( oh how many times brother has yelled "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE"! Other modes of play in this game include feed the cat, team battle, 4-player battles(with one game pack!),100 mice, and you can even create your own characters to replace the Chu Chu's image, who knows you could animate a digital "you", and watch the KK's eat the "yous" up. This game's fun level does waver from time to time but you'll always come back for more. Be sure to check out my other reviews by clicking on more about me, my other reviews include:Golden Sun, Dodge Ball Advance,Fortress, and when I get a GCN I hope to write many reviews on those games. Here is a summary of Chu Chu Rocket. Out of 10
Control:8
Gameplay:8.5
Fun Factor:6-10( depends on if your in the mood for it)
replay value:Well since there are 2000 puzzles to complete I don't know if I'll ever acually "replay" the game, but in 4-player I give 8
Variety:10
Graphics:5
Sega seems to have sarted a puzzle game line, Chu Chu Rocket, Monkey Ball what's next, Lab Rat Mania where you run through mazes and collect cheese! Oh well this game is Great!!!!
Don't judge a GBA Game by the cover's graphics, or whatever.

At first glance, this game may seem like an ideal game for an immature 3-year-old. W R O N G !!!!! Despite the dumb-looking characters and the annoying music, it's actually a very hard game! There are more puzzles than you can even expect to finish!(Exactly 2,600 if you do the math.) If the characters bother you that much, you can make your own. Just make sure to explain this to your friend if you catch him looking over your shoulder, or he'll think you've gone crazy.
Strangly addictive

I'm not even going to try and explain the purpose of this game or how you play it as it would probly only be confusing to you until you actually see it done, but basically its a puzzle game that offers a variety of scenarios with the same puzzle set. While some of the puzzles get esquishiatingly hard on higher levels, there is always a solution sometimes more and this game somehow draws you into keep playing it. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is its a tad repetive and shallow, its basically one puzzle on different scenarios or maps so to speak. The mp is very fun though and only requires one game pack.
Very cute and fun!

I usually hate games like this, but I was surprised that is is very addictive. there are many fun and unique features in this game, like you can create your own characters to use instead of cats and mice (I created dogs and cats!) and the multiplayer games can be super fun. It is a little hard to learn how to play and some people might not like it (my friend elizabath, age 13, said it was "stupid and pointless", yet her favorite gameboy game is tamagotchi!) Overall this game is a good game for your collection, but it's not the BEST(my fav is still dragon warrior monsters).
nice puzzle game, lots o' fun

If you like puzzle games at all, this one is quite well done. It requires a little thinking, has MANY levels, and constantly challenges you. Plus, the graphics are nicely lit and the game has many different features (Create a level, create a character) that will keep you interested over time. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth out of this one...much more than Pac Man Collection, which really needed BATTERY BACK UP to save scores, progress, etc. It's ridiculous that there are GBA games that lack a "save" feature. This will affect my future buying decisions. Anyway, Chu Chu Rocket is quite impressive, in my opinion, if you like a game with a challenge.

Let me just give you my opinon first, Mario Kart and F-Zero are better. The question is should you still buy it. The anwser to that is a maybe. If you have a GBA and need a good puzzler should you buy. The anwser to that is a yes. With a hole lot of puzzles this game should last you about a year. If you have friends this game is a blast to play. But be warned don't expect Mario Kart quality multiplay.
