Not good, tough learning curve for a kids game.

I'd rather dig out my old original Nintendo and play the very first Nintendo game Ice Hockey. It's far superior to this one. It was mine and my kids first entry to the kidz sports game, I certainly hope others are better although this one is so bad I'll likely never find out.
a little difficult for a kid

got this game for my 6 year old who is a HUGE hockey fan. It requires the Nunchuk. There are just too many directions and ways to use the controllers. It was confusing for me and my son just kept playing and losing everytime. I guess with some practice it will be cute but he is ready to trade it for a different game...
OK for the price

This is a pretty fun game once you get the controls down. If you are looking for something similar to the EA Games series, you will be disappointed. This is a 3 on 3 hockey game with no rules (offsides, two-line pass, etc.) so if you are looking for a fun little game (includes exhibition and tournament modes), this is it.
