If you dont know what this game is, its a mix between resident evil and fighting force. You beat zombies by punching and kicking, and if you find guns you can use those too. This is a great game from start to finish.

Zombie Revenge is an excellent game. It is like Streets of Rage, mixed with Resident Evil. Blasting zombies to bits with guns may sound fun, but it's even more fun when you're hooked in with your best bud, watching each others backs! The graphics and sound are great, and the chance for multiple paths adds replay value. The guns are so cool, you won't be able to wait until you find the next one. The story is good, but in a game like this, story doesn't matter too much anyway. If you are a fan of fighting games, RPG's, and especially adventure/action games, then this is a must for you. I hope this helps you make your descision.
A mixture between Resident evil and Fighting Force.

There is a monster raising mini-game, you raise a monster onthe VMU (Visual Memory Unit). Then you play it on your Zombie Revenge game. Oh yeah I almost forgot, you have to play the normal game to get bags of food for your monster dude (hey thar rhymed, cool). You can also fish for zombies to get food for your monter on the VMU. An aswome arsenal of weapons (Rock Drill, my favorite). No puzzles like in Resident Evil, just time limits. You walk around a city punching the beep out of zombies and bosses (Like Fighting Force). This will probably be a best buy here so buy your copy soon!
It's okay...

This is a decent game to pick up if you like games like Dynamite Cop or Die Hard Arcade, except with zombies. It has a few more option in it than the arcade game did, but other than that it's pretty much the same game. If you really liked the arcade game you should definitely pick this one up, if not you should at least rent it. The reason I gave this game 3 stars was because it has a few problems. One the control is a bit off and it is hard to control your character, second the game is timed, so if you can't fight fast enough it over. (The computer voice starts to say "THERE'S NO TIME!, THERES NO TIME!, over and over again.) Overall a good game, if this is up your alley, go on and buy it, you'll like it.
not bad game

If you like Resident evil titles, you will like this game but this isn't that good DC game. I don't think this is good graphic game. It's just decent game for DC or Arcade. anyway.. overall is pretty good game but if you have chance to rent this game, you should do that first.
This game is just like the arcade.

This game is amazing. It is very fun. There is also more than one game, you can play mini-games on the VMU like zombie fishing where you fish for zombies. Also the weapons are awesome. There are drills, flame throwers, cannons machine guns, chain guns, shotguns, and i'm sure there are many more. BUYER BEWARE, this game is VERY gory. When you get a monster with a drill, its body moves down it. This is a long fighting force only the humans are replaced with zombies. Also, you can't save it, so if you die, you start from the beggining. If you want real fun with this game, play with two people. You should also get House of the Dead 2 if you liked this game. This is a MUST HAVE for Dreamcast owners
Wow.

Geez, I hafta admit, at first, I was a little reluctant to buy this game. I had read many reviews, and some of them did not have inticing results. But, me being a fan of Die Hard Arcade, Streets of Rage, etc. I decided to take a risk and buy it anyway. Boy, was I surprised. The graphics are awesome, with great explosion effects and menacing bosses. There is an almost perfect variety of weapons, such as flamethrowers, shotguns, a drill, grenades, and my personal favorite, dual-handguns. There is even guns concealed inside guitar cases, a la Desperado. There is a nice variety of moves too. Players can pull off combos and throws easily. You can even charge gun/hand attacks. One of my favorite parts about the game is a peticular situation where you press the fire button as you are being knocked down. This results in your character (there are 3 selectable) shooting as he falls to the ground. VERY cool. My only complaint about this game is that it is rather short, and can get repetative, but I found myself playing it over and over again. Factors that will increase replay value are a two-player game, a boss mode, a fighting mode, and a training mode, where you may strenghthen a zombie via VMU. Fans of the genre should stop reading this review and buy this game....right now. Others should atleast give it a rental, it is a game that will not be soon forgotten.
A 40-minute zombie tour...oh, boy...

Zombie Revenge will certainly please a certain type of gamer, the type that just wants to sit down and go. But those looking for depth or great rewards will be disappointed by Revenge's lack of anything substantial over a one-week period. True, the graphics are pretty good, mimicking the arcade game of the same name, and some of the bosses, particularly the large Zombie hanging over the side of the building and trying to crush you with his hands, are creepy as heck. But the gameplay is off, not offering enough variety or tricks to keep you playing, and the two-player mode is dullsville. I suppose if you need a quick fix and you're too lazy to pull out the light guns for House of the Dead 2, Zombie Revenge should suit you, but others should go with a rental, you'll probably get the same out of the game as the buyers do.
