I couldn't wait for THPS2 to come out for Dreamcast the first time I played it at Best Buy on Sony. The game had great graphics and controls, so I couldn't even imagine how great it would be when I got it for Sega. It's everything I thought it would be. The controls are unbelievable! Surprisingly, I found that I like the way that THPS2 is harder to pull off hard tricks and combos then in THPS. It makes it WAY more realistic. I love the create a skate and skate park feature. My friends and I created 2 awesome parks. One for my style (it's like all grinding), and one for my friends (who like big air). It's a great game and a must have. I'm not a skater in my own time (snowboarder actually), but the game is a blast. Get it!

Looking for a good game?! Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is the game for anyone who likes skateboarding. Ever since I opened the game on my birthday and started playing it, I got adicted to it. You may think that just because I'm 11 years old I may not know what I'm saying, but this is an exellent game I asure you. You'll have hours of funplaying this game. There's an unlimited amount of levels you can skate thanks to the park editor, and you can have as many skaters as you want because you can create your own skater. If I were anyone reading this reveiw all that I would have to say is "Dad, can I get this game PLEASE!!!!!"
This is the best

Tony out did himself on this one. The levels are off the hook and the graphics are supreme. You can bust just about any trick you can think of and skate with the sickest riders. I highly reccomend tjis for any avid skateboarding fan.

This is a game that seems that you would have to like skating to like it. Well think again. I do not like to skate or even skate at all and after playing this game I could not set down the controller. This along with the first one are recomended to anyone who has a system that will play the game.
Damn good fun

Everything is fun in this game. It's easy to learn to play, but takes time to master. I've been playing this since it came out so I'm pretty experienced at it, and it's still fun. The only complaint, I'd say, not enough levels. Once you're through with the game, you get sort of bored. Either the levels should have been a tad bigger, or there should have been more.
The best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 combines some of the greatest visuals, sound, and gameplay out there availible for Sega's Dreamcast. The gameplay is great. There are 10 levels for you to grind across, trick off of, and manual. The new manual move allows you to link tricks for big combonations. The 3D models are incredibly realistic, but it doesn't stop there. A great soundtrack including music from Rage Against the Machine, Swingin Utters, Naughty by Nature, and Powerman 5000 is perfect for skating around. This game is perfect for anyone!
Impressive, even better than the first.

I played the first THPS to death, then my nephew scratched it real bad. And that actually put it to death. So I decided to grab the THPS-2 and check it out. Besides new moves more characters and superb graphics, I was pleased with the number of levels you can skate. In the first you were limited to the levels that you opened in caree mode. THPS-2 has the skatepark creator, but even if you don't make your own there are at least 40 pre-made parks to choose from. Plus the nine or so that you can unlock in career mode, it would take an extremly long time to get bored with all the levels. Well, before this gets too long and boring, this is a must have for the Dreamcast, it really shows what the system was and is capable of.
