Spiderman the movie is a fast action thrilling game based on the movie "Spider-man" which by the way is coming out in summer of Z00Z...
Spiderman the game is the best creation that Activision has ever given start to... I am a big spiderman fan and with all the reviews and videoclips and images and resource that I have found I could see that it's got a beautiful storyline filled with action and romance and I certantly hope this is how the movie is going to be too.
You get to use your favorite characters and fight the most horrifying and disgusting villans of the whole spider-man history of comic books!!!
You will enjoy this game, it's the best...
I don't know how people can fake a review

Can we be more vague? I played a small demo where I fought the Green Goblin - it was very challenging. I sat there watching other players to see if they could beat him in a couple of go's in which nobody could. If you see a store with that demo, you like me will fork out the $50.00 for the game if you a fan. What made me completely happy was it looks like there will be a Spider-Man game that actually seems buyable - not just marketing for the name Spider-Man name. I am 25 and from the old Atari up - the only game I have somewhat liked was the four player Marvel video game in the arcade....well, hopefully until now.
Fantastic Game, some flaws

The camera angle can get screwy, but you can readjust the camera at anytime. The Camera lock view, comes in handy when your engaged in ariel combat. Other than that, this is a very fun game.
It's good

Nothin more to say. Played the demo at [store], was tough, but I beat it in like 5 tries. Like most all xbox games, the graphics are superb. If ya like xbox, and you like Spiderman, it's a match made in heaven. Worth every penny.

I have not played the game yet but on ign's website it said that the Xbox version has better lighting effects and textures than the PS2 one and slightly better graphics than the Gamecube version, also the Xbox version is the only one to have 2 bonus levels with Kraven the Hunter. They also said said that this version has the steadiest framerate of the 3, so if you have more than 1 next-gen system it sounds like the Xbox version is the one to buy.
I own the game sold in stores as of today April 17th

If you dont beleave me i'll upload a pic of me playing it or whatever.
First off the game does take some skill to play... as for the camera modes.... leave it alone... there are only 2 modes to pick from and trust me the active mode is more useful than the passive mode which tends to get annoying more so than the active mode. If i wasnt such a good fan of spiderman i would rank the game a 2 in fun, 3 in strategy, but its not really worth [$$$] that you pay in stores or online. If your a fan buy the game... if your not i suggest halo or Rally sport challenge etc etc etc....
Now for the cheaters.... yes there is a cheats entry option in the game. As well as a Training section on how to be a web slinger(a guy that talks to you like your a idiot in the background).
Movie Clips are awesome ;) if it wasnt for those i would have taken it back already.
...
P.S. IT IS BUGGY! When fighting green goblin if you knock him off his glider sometimes it freezes the game.... no worries it only does this once in a blue moon but it just so happened to do that the first 3 times i played the game :(
laters.

My son and I picked up our copy the day it came out. (4/17/2002) It's overall a very good game with impressive graphics. The actual gameplay takes about 15 minutes to get used to. Once you do you will notice it's easy to move around and fight. I was concerned how they would handle the actual webslinging but it is very well done. Some of the reflections on the buildings are just amazing.
It is rated 'E' and has no objectionable content for younger players other then beating up on the bad guys. In typical Spiderman fashion, no one really dies but rather just disappears. There is also no blood splattering from what I can tell.
I would suggest Spiderman to anyone that likes an action adventure game. It's a good buy.
Excellent game.

I'm not even a huge Spider-Man fan, but this game is highly entertaining. The training missions alone, guided by the voice of non-other than Bruce Campbell himself, are fun. Using the voices of Willem DaFoe and Tobie Maquire for the game is also a nice bonus. I've only had the game for 2 days, but I can't wait to get back home and get back to it! Also, from all the reviews I've read, the XBox version has enough little built in bonuses to keep other systems at arms reach. Definitely a showcase game.
Simply "AMAZING"...

It has taken quite some time for this game to hit the open market, and finally it arrived... and it was worth every penny. Everything from the graphics and gameplay to the music makes this game worth your money. I am not a person that likes watching the "cinema transition scenes," but the graphics simply pull you in. The transition scenes are fairly straight forward (they don't last FOREVER like some games), plus you can skip through them once you have seen them. For those gamers that might be intimidated by the controls of the game, the training modes that are avaiable prepare you for every aspect of the game. I would have to say that a negative aspect of the game is that "exploration" is limited in each of the levels. It would be nice if you could just web sling around in the environment more than is allowed, but do not let that change you mind about the game. Another must see aspect of the game is the utilization of the spider sense, in some areas when your spider sense tingles, the player is taken through a dreamlike sequence toward the origin of the threat. So in closing...
Pros: Graphics: (ex: window reflection on the buildings)
Gameplay: (different fighting/web maneuvers)
Music: (the music simply contributes to the experience)
Training Mode: Prepares ANYONE for the actual game
Cons: Limited environment exploration
Some corny dialogue
I cannot speak for all gamers, but this game met all of my expectatons, and I have not even made it through the entire game yet. It should be a part of any video game collection regardless of the type of system you own.
