..The selling point of "The Lord of The Rings: The Treason Of Isengard" is that the game follows the second book of the Lord of the Rings, "The Two Towers" closer than the EA Games version did. EA's version followed the film perfectly, with the emphasis on the Battle of Helm's Deep being the major action-related aspect. As with the film, this battle was drawn out more to give more action and players/fans more to interact with and fight against.
As for the 'Treason of Isengard" (Name taken from a chapter in TT), I assume the Helm's Deep battle won't be quite as prolific, and more character interaction may occur. It may be a more stylized and moodier game as well, as Two Towers was one of the darker volumes in Lord of the Rings. I can assume without much doubt that the story of Frodo, Sam and Gollum/Smeågol will be stronger and that the discussion of Gandalf / Sauroman will be touched upon somewhere within as well.
I don't know if the publicists will take liscense with the art direction over the film's already dictated designs, but even so it would be interesting to see yet another 'take' on such an imaginative book.
On the whole, I can assume that 'The Treason of Isengard" will be inwhole a fantastic game that I will for sure play if not purchase, and my only existing fears this PS2 player has is that the controls may not be up to par. But then again, that could happen with ANY game!
Play EA Games' existing version of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers first and if possible, read the book as well!!
ME WANT MORE !

One of my friends gave me a demo disc and they just said Here play this its a cool game and When I did play it he wasn't kidding This game rocks. Its based on the second part of LOTR which is the two towers. My opinion is read the book then play it. I'm going to buy it when it coms out.
