Worth it if your racing collection is big.

I got this on a whim, and it's definitely worth it. It was purchased for GT3, Tokyo Extreme, Rumble Racing, and Burnout. Since I'm not a Nascar fan I didn't bother trying it with those games. For starters it's very different, taking about 30 minutes to an hour to get used to. Once you get into a groove with it you should select one of the two sensitivities depending on the game and your driving style. Using GT3 as an example, I chose my best car and set a baseline in Laguna Senca and then tried to match it using this controller after 3 laps I managed to shave off 4 seconds off my best time. Thinking it was a fluke I put the regular Dual Shock 2 back in and tried to match my new time with no luck. With that said I'm quite happy with this controller, but it doesn't come without problems.
My first gripe, there is no left Y-Axis or right analog stick. So using this with GTA3 is out of the question, it's a pitty too because that would make this a must have. Next up, the complaints about it having a dead point are right on, but I find the dead point useful because letting go while turning will set it back to center without turning the opposite direction. The last problem I have with this controller, size. If it had maybe half an inch more room between the grip and the body it would be perfect.
Keep in mind that this controller is for the budget minded, if you want the best wheel, you'd buy the Logitech Driving Force Wheel ... or the Momo version of that wheel for roughly $250. I'd give this controller a try if you haven't messed with any racing wheels for the Playstation or Playstation 2.
Great concept, but the newer model is much better

The concept is fantastic -- a wheel that doesn't require a mythical table of exactly the right height in front of your TV or foot pedals. However, this wheel is a little small, and the buttons are very hard convex plastic. Playing for any length of time will make your button fingers very sore.
The newer version, the blue and black Gamester Pro Racer, is far superior. It's bigger and more accurate, and the buttons are concave and softer. I have both, and the new version is definitely the one to get.
Don't waste money

I bought this to use with nascar 2002 and it is bad. You can not control the car. I finished every race in last. I use the regular controller and could win. It is not sensative enough. By it turns your in the wall. DON"T BUY
Dont purchase this at all

It looks pretty cool. But the big problem is the sensitivity of it ... you try to steer your vehicle but the wheel doesnt register till about half a full turn. Its a worthless purchase that i regret buying.
Waste of time and money!!!!

Cut along story short,I bought this from toys'r'us over here,it looked cool and I figured why not, how bad can it be;I plugged it in loaded up wrc rally 2001 and could I control the car...,the car was all over the place, the wheel's sensitivity is non existent, turn left nothing, abit more still nothing, abit more and it would suddenly vere off to the left and the same when turning right, bottom line impossible to drive with this steering peripheral; steer well clear{pun intended}of this, you have been warned!!!!
