I bought this for my kids ( 7 & 9) and didn't look closely at the song list. There wasn't very many songs that they actually know. I should have went with the POP singstar but they were out of that one. I'm still giving it 4 stars but it is still fun....the melady version are fun too - 20 seconds or so of 4-5 songs. Keeps it interesting! Especially if one person knows a certain song better than others.
However, it is still fun and my kids are getting to know some of my "oldies". The whole family has had fun with this. You can actually add up to 4 microphones. We found ourselves getting up singing and dancing! Having a blast.
Some of the words were hard for my 7 year old but its actually helping him to read better and its fun!
I like that it has pictures of the actual videos, this makes it even more entertaining, especially for those that are just observing!
You can also see how well you did as you go long because it will give you a little star if you did well or have a comment that it was awful, good, awesome. Nice to see that little star! :)
Not the best, but still good.

Singstar Amped is my frist singstar game and it does have its high points. The gameplay is fun and they use real music videos for the songs which makes the game more enjoyable. The selection of songs isnt the best, but i like it better than the other ones so far. I reccomend it to anyone who's ever liked DDR, guitar hero, or anything on the lines of those games.
