Fun for all ages. My husband and 13 year-old son has been playing this every night since Christmas. The bundle includes quality microphones and we were able to hook it up to our surround system. The songs get old after awhile, so we have since bought the Amped game to get 30 more songs.

this game is so much fun. I recently had an 80's theme party and bought this game for entertainment. My guests had so much fun singing together, battling each other and singing solo. Although there are only 14 or so songs, they are all fun to sing. And just in case you can't hit a note, you can turn off the meter and just sing away..love it!!!!!
A must have game!

This is a very fun game, especially if you get a group of people together to play it. We broke it out for a party and spent close to 4 hours singing and laughing. I am a horrible singer and still enjoyed playing it. I highly recommend it!
So much fun for a group party

After seeing a few vids of this on YouTube I knew I had to try this. I purchased the SingStar 80s pack since I mainly listen to 80s rock, Classic Rock, and didn't know any song on the Pop version except SOS by Rihanna. But the 80s version I knew every song aside from a few unknowns but I had a blast singing along and Duet is even more fun. I wanna buy the whole SingStar collection whether I know the songs or not. This brings party Karaoke up a notch to a whole new level. PS2 owners this is another MUST HAVE game for your PS2. FUN FUN FUN !! \(^0^)/
Was hoping for the same set up as versions 1 & 2

Unlike Country music and earlier pop versions this loop has the artists on screen from their original music televsion productions, which means the scorekeeping and venues backdrops, etc are not part of the mix. Music however, is OK, and if got it straight, may be a duplicate or two from the earlier versions.
Yay! Back to the 80s!

I must say I usually suck badly at karaoke games, but I bought this for a female friend, and she loved it. What usually frustrates me is I don't keep up with the latest pop songs, so I bumble my way through them and tend to lose, but everyone from my 30-something generation knows the words to these pop classics. It even has 2 of my favorites from that decade, Thompson Twins & Simple Minds. It was also great seeing their videos again, back when MTV used to actually play videos! A great party game, and you know what goes great with party games...

I have enjoyed playing several Karaoke Revolution titles and was expecting something similar when I purchased this game. While it is similar it still has several differences. Instead of showing an animated character 'singing' the songs, this game shows the music video to the song above the words. This can be a little distracting at times, but it's a nice change of pace. I found the 'in tune' indication in this game far more difficult to get used to and adjust for than in Karaoke Revolution games. Instead of a line with an arrow indicating the pitch there are 'bubbles' that become highlighted if you are singing in tune. There is still an arrow indicating if you are too high or too low, but it's a little hard because there are two different methods to show when you are in tune and out of tune. Maybe it's just me, but I think the Karaoke Revolution games are a lot easier. I like this game because of the 80's songs I haven't heard in a long time. It might seem more difficult too because a lot of the songs in this game I haven't heard in such a long time, or were 80's songs just that much more difficult to sing? Maybe I just didn't have a pitch indicator when I used to sing along with these songs! It is nice having two mics so someone else can be embarrassed with you.
