It is rated 10+ but my 6 year old loves it. He can not read very well yet but it reads some of it for you. It has lots of mini games and he has had fun building rides. Of course he will not run a perfect park or even a profitable one but he is having fun with it. It has some good music and a lot of variety. Its nice not to have to listen to the SAME sound track all the time. I think it could be fine for some younger kids.

THIS GAME REQUIRES wii REMOTE AND NUNCHUCK. LOOKS TOO COMPLICATED TO ME, HOWEVER, GRANDKIDS LIKE TO COMPETE TO SEE WHO MAKES MOST MONEY SO THEY HAVE FUN WITH IT.

Wow, this game is packed with stuff to do. Something for everyone. Mom enjoyed the mission challenges in 5 categories: build, games, guests, upkeep, and manage. Dad liked the classic-style arcade games. Seven year old liked exploring the many parks and solving the sabotage mysteries. Five year old loved to build coasters, golf courses, and buggy courses. The music (including Miley Cyrus and Aly and AJ) and the DJ background is pretty hip. The dance/cheerleeding game is terrible, but the shooting/treasure hunting games are fun. Pick your park manager character, dress, customize, then go design your amusement park, meet the many customers, and play the 34 multiple minigames. A really good buy if you like variety.

I purchased this game for my daughter for Christmas, but ended up enjoying it as much, if not more, than her. There's lots of options and features to keep you entertained for hours. Don't overlook this one if you're looking for something to do on your wii besides tennis and boxing. And it got it through www.geturgadget where I can earn money back on Amazon purchases.

Great simulation game! I usually have a short attention span - but this game was really hard to put down...a great feature of this game is all of the sub-games within the game...it really keeps things interesting!

Fun for an hour

The main reason I got the wii was to play some awesome multiplayer games with my friends. I picked up this game and soon came to realize what a mistake I had made. Me and a friend ran through mini-game after mini-game hoping to find one that we'd like to play over and over. Sadly to discover, we found none that were addicting. The game was fun to play for about an hour, until we had run through all the mini-games there were unlocked and decided that we didn't want to play any of them again.

The build your own roller coaster feature was quite frustrating for me. I don't know how that part of the game is for other people, but I couldn't even get passed the tutorial.

I have not unlocked all the games yet so maybe there are some fun ones in the game. This game is probably meant for little kids only.

If you expected Thrillville to be like Roller Coaster Tycoon then you were wrong. First of all, in order to build you have to have enough power to do so. You can make rides and play on them. Also you should hire many employes. You can play as an entertainer during the game. Those are only the most basic things in the game.

You will also have to do many hard missions in the park. You can also make coasters have very cool crashes. You have to find six of something in the park. Sometimes, you have to do game missions. Overall, it is very cool to do missions because you can play on your own course.

Compared to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Thrillville is very easy. The reason is because it is much shorter but is still fun. To complete Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 you have to get tycoon on every level of the game. Thrillville is better for the average person because you do not have to be perfect. That is why Thrillville is much, much better.

Talking in the game is extremely cool because you can be who you want to be. You could be a good or bad flirter. You could make plenty of good friends. Or you could just be a mean bully and not be nice to them. That is how you may play the game. You should talk seriously to the characters to learn stuff so you can beat the game.

Overall, Thrillville Off The Rails is very cool in the end.

There are tons of games within this game. My kids have a blast and it's fun for adults as well. Has a simcity feel, with a games mixed in between.

Ok I guess,

I just got a wii and a little while later got this game. I had high expectations for this game and was really disappointed. The "whoa" coasters aren't very whoa, there's no overhead view either.. I don't mind that too much but you can't choose the layout or scenery whatsoever! And sometimes that's really annoying cause in several of the parks there's thing that you REALLY wish you could get rid of. And it doesn't make good use of the wii's motion-sensetive featurs, the only thing that keeps me from getting rid of it is the awesome mini games.
